    The airport was nearby, a $32 taxi ride. The bathrooms were very clean. The room was clean, and he upgraded us to a larger room, so we had more room for our group to spread out. They had all sorts of housing from campgrounds with hook ups to rooms for the whole family. The playground was fun too. They have a dump station and water fill up as well. The dog in the office is a great bonus.

    Lots to see and do in Christchurch.

    Lots to see and do in Christchurch. We had 2 full days to explore and managed to see/do the hop-on/hop-off tram, punting on the Avon, the gondola (plus walk from the top down to Lyttleton), the earthquake museum, the cardboard cathedral, New Regent St, Riverside Market and a stroll around the beautiful botanic gardens. Ran out of time to visit the Art Gallery and Willowbank Wildlife Park which were on our list.

    Opuke Thermal Pools & Spa are a must see, must do. World class! The mountains are beautiful. If you have transport, close by is Ashburton, Lake Coleridge and much more. The information centre in Methven, "I-Hub" is a wealth of information and things to do. Off the beaten track, an alive, looked after, vibrant small town NZ with genuine charm and a smile. My wife and I loved it, we will be back.

    Pleasant and friendly country city with easy access and roads. Quality shopping and food outlets. Close to rivers, lake and mountains and handy on why to Dunedin. Two very interesting museum - aviation and old world. The park gardens are superb for walks and picnic.

    Luxurious and welcoming. The restaurant at Terrace Downs was exceptional. Highly recommend the Mt Cook Salmon main. Extensive wine selection and great service. Would love to have stayed longer as there is so many exciting activities to choose from.

    On our way back home to Queenstown, my husband was so tired...

    On our way back home to Queenstown, my husband was so tired so we decided to do a last minute booking, was only one room left and we were lucky to get it. The property manager was so kind and very helpful, room was great all we needed a great bed and easy location to drive out.     I really like kaiapoi and I would like to stay there but...

    I really like kaiapoi and I would like to stay there but would definitely stay in another motel I found everyone friendly and found some good Cafés at night I were at the speedway at Woodfordglen that was the reason I stayed in kaiapoi because it was close to the speedway track.

    Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close...

    Springfield is only an hour from Christchurch yet so close to great scenery for drives and many sporting activities including Mt Hutt Ski Fields plus others. Arthur's Pass is a fabulous drive, Rakaia Gorge is beautiful, the drive to Coleridge Power Station, at the back of Mt Hutt is very scenic. The town of Methven is not far away. And there is so much more to see. Springfield is a fabulous base for so much to do and see!
