I slept really well, it exceeded my expectations. I arrived after midnight and was made to feel very welcome. The bed was super comfortable, the bed linens were wonderful. I was in a room with 4 people and the bathroom was very clean. I recommend it!

Simply amazing. One of the best hotel experiences ever - and we have had many. Such a lovely, historical college building, beautiful decor, cleanliness and perfect customer service. A beautiful room and bathroom, lovely bed and linens. We also liked the continental breakfast a lot. I have celiac diseace and had yet a good choise. The breakfast hostess earns our special thaks. Location in the Arts Centre was great with shops a lovely restaurants and a cafe. Sadly the antiquities museum was closed Mon - Tue. Also the museum tram has its stop very close. Keep up the service-minded spirit. Thank you! ♥️🇫🇮

Totally the hospitality was incredible. Receptionists were really nice. Very close to ZQN airport - only 1 stop from airport by bus. It cost only $2.00 with BEE card. I didn't need to grab a taxi. Very easy access. The hotel was located next to Remarkable Shopping Mall. Walking distance from both airport and shopping mall for me. There were a variety of restaurants and cafes in the mall. Super market (New World) was nearby. To CBD of Queenstown, you can reach by #1 city bus. Takes 30 minutes bus ride. Very quiet to sleep at night.

Awesome view, got take-out both nights to fully enjoy it. Getting breakfast served in the room (without surcharge) was definitely the right choice. Easy parking, close to the town centre (quick drive or short walk). Would stay again!

I was shocked how lovely my room was for the price - I had a couch in my room and a balcony that overlooked the garden. The staff is lovely and professional - the hot tub is cozy after a long hike or drive - and the food was excellent. It was nice to cozy up next to the fire in the morning with my Magic Mushrooms bfast. Would recommend as this place bursts with charm.

We always love our trips to Christchurch, regularly going to watch cricket at Hagley Oval - a special and unique cricket pitch. But the City has many other options; for arts and culture as well as sport, and a diverse selection of places to eat. I've visited many times and have never been disappointed in terms of what's on offer.

Queenstown is like a beautiful swiss village in the heart of stunning natural beauty including pristine alpine lakes, several good ski slopes and world class hiking trails. It has a real international feel with travellers and workers from around the world. There is a great range of accomodation and activities here for all tastes. The only downside is food and accommodation is quite expensive, especially for a family. Even the price of groceries is exorbitant. Coming from Melbourne we found it hard to find a reasonable priced meal out. The quality of food is hit and miss. Some places look great but the food is lacking. The best food in queenstown is at FergBurger and FergBakery as well as Erik's Fish and Chips. Would highly recommend NZone Skydiving, Lighthorse Adventures (horseriding at Glenorchy) and the Ben Lomond Hiking trail.

Wanaka has so much to offer as a destination in New Zealand. Lots of hikes, beautiful countryside and activities. We had 5 nights but could easily have stayed longer, it was sad to leave. The Roy's Peak climb is epic if you have the stamina and Puzzling World is well worth the visit.

We loved the awesome views of the lake. We enoyed our day at the Hot Springs. We were disappointed that our star gazing tours were cancelled due to poor weather. Had a great meal at the Chinese restaurant, Jade Palace. Otherwise we mainly ate at our accommodation and cooked for ourselves.

Kaikoura is famous for whale watching - unfortunately we didn't see too many on our tripalthough the whale watching company (there is only one - based next to the train station) was very efficient. The seal colony on the peninsular was very interesting (lots of seals everywhere - even in the grass) and worth driving down to. Only part of the beach is safe - the section between Anzac Park and the peninsular so I presume this is the area popular with surfers although on our full day there the weather was poor so not many people in the sea. There appears to be a good selection of accommodation in that area and a variety of places to eat.

Had intended to visit Farewll Spit but disappointed to find that it involved a day trip and you could not use your own vehicle...tour bus only. This means you need to stay close to Collingwood or face a very long day to catch the tour bus. Would recommend the trip from Nelson to Collingwood but allow 2 - 3 days for that alone. We stopped at most townships & included the Pou Pou fresh water lake. Well worth the visit. Went to the market in Motueka. Had a pizza & coffee for lunch. Can I just say a m a z i n g!!! Best I have had in years.

Twizel was an area for farming & sheep grazing until the NZ Govt decided to connect all the Alpine Lochs via a series Canals & Power Plants to create a Massive Hydro Power Scheme in the late 60's. It took nearly 20 years, but at the completion of the Power Project the Village of Twizel was established & the Power scheme workers & residents wanted the town to remain. Luckily they won the day & Twizel became part of The MacKenzie County Council set up & is now a Tourist Mecca for Alpine Enthusiasts. A great place to base yourself whilst visiting Mount Cook/Aoraki & the surrounding Ben Ohau Valley Region. Twizel still has that quaintness of a small Alpine Village, a quality that seems to have been lost in other nearby Tourist Meccas.
