Beautiful dome shaped white tents surrounded by glistening sand on which sunset rays r falling on it.feeling was as if u r in different world.inside very specious room n king sized bed .truly sunset dome. This place deserves a 12 out of 10 and if you are looking for a real desert experience, look no further. Amer is a super attentive host from the moment he guides you to the camp which is about 16km in the desert all the way through your stay. The camp has four tents, three for guests making it max 6 people staying there and a larger tent for hanging out and eating. To really experience the desert, I suggest you to stay for two nights. Few other facts that may help you decide: - The food served for dinner (optional but can highly recommend!) and breakfast are Omani dishes made fresh on site by the team - The main tent has solar-powered A/C and a table with snacks/water that makes reading or relaxing with a view comfortable during the day - The camp offers all relevant tours (camel rides, bedouin visit etc) - The tents are well equipped, clean and the beds are super comfortable

The location is perfect - not too close to city and not too far deal in the desert. The welcoming of the hosts is amazing, they make sure we have all we need. Stargazing session after dinner and chat altogether made our evening very pleasant and our daughter of 2,5 YO enjoyed it so much.

Emaad and Zaheed made our stay amazing and their hospitality was the best. The setting was fantastic and such a special stay in the desert. We had a great meal in the evening and it was nice waking up in the desert. I recommend this stay.

Even if the fact that the hotel is located by an old WWIi British airport runway sounds astonishing, visually it's not as impressive as expexted...still gives the hotel a nice "extra". 😄 Rooms are big and clean, breakfast was good even if I missed at least some vegetables. The best on this hotel is the stuff here. Haven't experienced that often such an outgoing support in anything we needed. Within a rating range from 1 to 10, I would give them 11 points. Few minutes after check in I received via Whatsup suggestions where to have dinner or where to book a turtles tour. For dinner ( it got dark already)we decided to go for the received suggestion, Google maps showed it was about a 20min walk, so we thought why taking the car. After about 5min, a car appeared behind us. It was our receptionist who cought us up and drove us to the restaurant on the end. 😁

I particularly enjoyed sitting on the terrace, listening to the ocean. Our small house had a beautiful sea view. The resort beach was sandy, perfect for a great swim. The sea water was super clear, and we couldn't get enough of it. We also enjoyed a swim in the quiet pool next to the beach. Pool had a guard. The food for dinner and breakfast was pretty good, depending on what you pick. The freshly grilled chicken was fantastic. The spiced rice and french fries were tasty too. Breakfast had a variety of delicious fruits. There was live music during dinner, creating a really chill atmosphere. I wished we could have stayed an extra day. The staff were really friendly. It's a great place for families, with playgrounds for kids. Or pick a book, sit in the terrace and listen to the waves :)

I have no words to describe how magical is this place. The owner Ahmed is awesome, we chat a lot with him, he welcomed us with fresh oranges, omani dates and coffee. The tents are amazing. We did dune bashing at sunset and camel rides in the morning. It’s not just the place but the whole experience we will always bring with us. This place is stunning, for real! Dinner and breakfast are delicious thanks to the two guys working there :) LOVED IT.

A very nice camp with plenty of activities: sandboarding, an evening cinema, a campfire, and live music. The food was tasty and varied. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and spacious enough. The camp is well organized and gives a strong sense of safety.

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !

Hospitality, food, the host went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and make sure we made it to the Turtle Reserve and our next destination. The shade he created on the beach was priceless! Fantastic break from sight-seeing, just enjoying the wonderful sea and sandy beach!

Spending only one night in this magical place felt far too short — every corner of the chalet radiates charm and beauty, making it a true haven of peace and delight. The atmosphere is enchanting, the setting unforgettable, and the hospitality beyond compare. We are already dreaming of returning as soon as possible, to stay longer and fully immerse ourselves in the magic of this wonderful property and its breathtaking surroundings.

Sur was a nice surprise.

Sur was a nice surprise. We were planning on going to the sea turtles reserve in Ras Al Jinz, but it was not the season, so we ended up in Sur instead. Thea beach is very nice as well as the souq. We had nice breakfast at Sahari Restaurant and hiked up to the tower next to it to see the views over the town. We visited the light house and the dhow factory.

The desert is very beautiful here.

The desert is very beautiful here. Despite the multitude of camps, it is not a problem to have a perfectly quiet and serene evening or morning walk among the dunes. If possible, aim for a moonless night to enjoy the full splendor of the night sky.

Al Hadd is a peaceful coastal area with beautiful empty beaches and a very relaxed atmosphere. It’s a great place to see wildlife — especially turtles — and enjoy the simple charm of local fishing life. The area is calm, safe, and perfect for families who want to disconnect from the city and explore Oman’s coastline. Even one night here gives a nice break and a memorable experience.

Excellent location.

Excellent location. But I would suggest that you allocate a separate place away from the hotel rooms for the scrap items as otherwise it invites snakes and scorpions to the rooms. Also recommend a Table Fan at the food lobby.

We had an excellent stay at the camp.

We had an excellent stay at the camp. It's a small and private camp, with a great view on the sand dunes. The tents are fully equipped and comfortable. All the people working at the camp were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was according to our expectations and beyond. We did a dune bashing activity, where we also watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures. I also definitely recommend the camel ride to watch the sunrise! The dinner and breakfast was super delicious, and we enjoyed watching the stars around the campfire at night.
