We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

Dan & Brian's place overlooks the sea and is just a few steps from a lovely little beach with white sand and coral reefs on either side. They provide snorkelling equipment, paddle boards and kayaks free of charge. The house itself is impressive and the rooms very nicely furnished. Beds super comfy. The pool is a good size and nice and warm, and surrounded by trees full of birds and the occasional sloth or monkey. The food was fantastic and they make great cocktails. They also organised us a private tour to the Zapatillas islands which was idyllic, and they had lots of other great recommendations, including the easy hike to Wizard beach which is stunning and was practically empty.

Hostal Cay is set in Bastimentos and features a bar. The guest house has family rooms. Free WiFi is accessible to all guests, while selected rooms also offer a terrace.

My husband and I decided to spend a week in Bastimentos. It is a calm place to stay at. The location is perfect, everything's nearby, and it's right in the middle of Old Bank. The deck is a great place to just relax, chill, read a book, listen to some music or watch the sunset. Even though the kitchen is small, it has most necessary things. When in need of a water taxi, please ask for Maya. He's nice, responsible, and very punctual. Finally, the star of our stay, and the cherry on top were the daily breakfast options offered by Kiosco&Pescador. Eunice was the kindest and her food was the most delicious.

Eclypse de Mar has everything : by the water's edge with free equipment to use (snorkeling, SUP, kayak) ; you walk 2 min and you're inside the forest (caïmans, frogs, sloths, hummingbirds, birds...) ; direct access to the restaurant and possibility to go to old bank. They also propose wonderful activities as going to Zapatilla islands ! Breakfast was nice with fruits, granola, fresh juice, coco bread...

This is a wonderful place, great location in the nature, easy to get to. The hosts, Carmen and Marcel, create very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and they are very helpful with all the recommendations. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is great. Carmen also cooks dinner sometimes, if you are lucky to be there that day, I definitely recommend to join, it’s delicious. It was overall a great experience staying at Carmen’s Place.
