We had an amazing 7-day stay at Fat Lips Surf Lodge, even during the island-wide power outage. Despite the challenges, the entire crew went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. The lodge is in an ideal location in Catangnan, just a short ride from Cloud 9 and General Luna, with a peaceful garden view surrounded by lush greenery. Tim was incredible, always checking in to ensure everything was okay. With a generator, running water, and fast Wi-Fi, we had everything we needed and never felt inconvenienced. Huge thanks to Kuya Julius, his wife, and the rest of the fantastic team for making us feel so at home. We also had the chance to meet Apple (Tim’s wife), who is so kind and cool. She even gave us some awesome Fat Lips merch to remember our trip! 🙈 And, of course, lil Stevie stole our hearts. We already miss that sweet little guy! 🥹❤️ P.S. You also get a 10% discount at their shop and on surfboard rentals, which was such a nice bonus. We’re already planning to come back next year — and this time, we’re staying for a whole month! Our room is on the beachfront and has a spectacular view of the sea and waves, especially during sunrise. Pacifico has a very relaxed vibe compared to General Luna, which me and my husband enjoyed very much. The hotel has its own restaurant/bar, you can order food or beer and have it delivered to your room, or you can just eat there. They serve good food. This is very convenient because there aren't many resto options in the area. The staff is also warm and approachable if we need anything. Last but not the least, its owner Georg, is such a great host. He drove us around the island and gave us a tour on the must visit sites. He is very attentive to our needs and made sure our entire stay is comfortable.

We loved how convenient the location was, right on Tourism Road with so many great bars and restaurants just a short walk away. The villas were beautifully designed and gave off a Santorini vibe, which made the stay feel extra special. We also appreciated having the beach right across from Siago Hotel, plus Cloud 9 was only a quick tuktuk ride away. Each villa having its own private pool was such a treat after long days exploring the island

Pros: Patrick's is right on the beach! They have cabanas for dining right on the beach. Pick a cabana, and they will serve your food to you there. Swimming on Patrick's beautiful sandy beach is amazing. (Best swimming is during high tide). Good WIFI. Restaurants, souvenir shops, and ATM are just a short walk. Beautiful lush grounds, and nice landscaping. Bungalows have ocean view from your front deck. Surfboard and instructor at Cloud Nine available for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per hour. (It's a 10 minute tricycle ride to Cloud Nine). Be advised, the ocean bottom at Cloud Nine is rocky, not sand! Motor bikes available on site at Patrick's. They rent for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per day. Island Tour or Land Tour available. Inquire at front desk about rentals and activities. Beach view Ping Pong table available at Patrick's restaurant. Friendly staff.

Beautiful property on the beach. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately on our last night, there was a sewer problem in the bathroom and our room smelt bad.
