We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful, clean, and newly built accommodation with a charming room and a very nice outdoor bathroom. It was very clean and 100% comfortable with everything you need. It was also possible to have breakfast in the accommodation which was very tasty. What truly made it stand out were the incredibly kind staff and owners, as well as the stunning grounds and the outdoor communal spaces that were perfect for relaxing. They even went the extra mile for my birthday, arranging flowers and a garland, which was such a thoughtful touch.

During our 5-day Christmas stay at Rufana Suites, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff treated us like family, helping with trip planning and motorbike bookings delivered to the hotel. The delicious breakfast and proximity to the main town, just a 10-minute motorbike ride away, were highlights. The attentive and welcoming staff made our stay enjoyable, away from busy streets. Everything from check-in to check-out was incredible. The food in the restaurant was super tasty, we ate breakfast and dinner there every day and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were super helpful and friendly, always happy to answer any questions we had/organise transport for us. The rooms were extremely clean, and the beds were so comfortable. The location is a little bit further from Alona, but it's easy to organise transport and it is only 20 minutes away. The property is super quiet and clean. We spent a lot of time in the pool after our morning excursions. It's really a wonderful place to rest and relax. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be 100% returning for our next trip!

We had a lovely stay with Virly, Xavi and their dog Rex. Nice spot on a hill, with a stunning view. Very comfortable beds, very clean, big pool, quiet neighborhood, delicious breakfast. At night you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the silence and the flying fireflies.

Everything was great : the bedroom was big and really comfortable with AC, the terrace in front of the room is really a plus, the restaurant and beach bar were perfect, food was really good and beverage also, the access to longchairs on the beach, the proximity with the beach and everything you need, we enjoyed every moment!     The resort is beautiful. We like the fact that the beachfront is somewhat private as it wasn't crowded. It was clean and water is crystal clear. The swimming pools are gorgeous. The staff were all AMAZING :-) Service is impeccable. Thank you to the front desk staff, Amanda and Mighty for helping us book of boat rides and vans. To the roof top pool staff, Milo, Peter and the rest of the staff - you guys are amazing - we really enjoyed our afternoons/evenings there. To Marianne and Sam from Sands restaurant, Thank you for helping us every morning for breakfast :-) We will definitely come back and recommend :-)

    Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Love how they cook the omelette during the breakfast buffet. The veggie clear soup as well. Shoutout to the frontdesk officer Kris. Staff are helpful in many way even in suggesting what to do and where to go when in Cebu. The hotel has a nearby 24 hrs convenient store with branded overrun items that you can buy. The location is at the heart of the City. The 2 rooms booked for my family is overlooking the Cebu-Cordova link bridge. Will sure to come back.

    Loved the warm Filipino hospitality of the staff. When you make a request, they take a next step to help solve your problem. The facilities were excellent. The room we stayed in was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and quite relaxing. I'd recommend taking a room with an ocean view, our toddler enjoyed the view of the fish pond from the room.

    Cebu has its beautiful and calm areas which is awesome,...

    Cebu has its beautiful and calm areas which is awesome, however due to our location it was always an hour or so to get to these places, so my advice to future travellers is to choose a hotel outside the city centre, maybe more South West or South East where the beautiful beaches and waterfalls are situated.... A must have is Grab to get around, its safe and very affordable, however any beaches are far out of the city!

    Depends on what you want to do in Boracay. If you want to party and enjoy the crowded beach, go to the main Stations. If you want to enjoy privacy and tranquility with less to no crowd, then go to New Coast.

    I like the people of Panglao and the places.

    I like the people of Panglao and the places. We feel at home away from real home.Feeling of confident walking in the roads and markets.Specially the beaches..My family love the Alona ambiance.And been to Moadto Strip which has a nice free beach.And for our transportation we always book for Romelle and Edzel recommended by Nilo the property manager.

    I had lived in Moalboal before.

    I had lived in Moalboal before. I was just back visiting a girlfriend. The Panagsama area, where the resort is located is great. Literally walked the entire area. Lots of different restaurants/bars. Plenty of different operators for activities, mostly sea related. It is a great area. I plan to move back next year.

    We loved our city tour esp. to the Garin Farm, Balay na Bato where we had a taste of hot choco and molo soup, visited various churches and tried the Roberto's siopao (so big that one is good for 2 persons), the famous Ilongo batchoy. We also explored Guimaras and our tour to Gigantes Islands is unforgettable esp. with the unli scallops served for lunch at the Lantangan beach.

    No really a friendly place to live or visit...The airport is small and uncomfortable...It's all about tokens or tips for people who are not even helping you with your luggage and NO Grab car/taxi service there...No place to eat buffet restaurants and it's hard to find cook tilapia fish there in restaurants...

    Though a small city, with the St Agustin Church & Plaza being the main attraction, the outskirts are beautiful and offer lot of things to do like in Silay, where beautiful Ancestral Heritage homes still stand after more than a century, as well as, very good food trip like El Ideal for their divine crispy thin piayas, guapple pie, and more. Pahanocoy is another outskirt that’s just a 20-minute public bus ride from SM Mall to organic farm FreshStart Organic & Natural where I had exquisite culinary experience in their Lanai Restaurant, 1 of 4, in its organic grounds. The owners & staff even made the time to welcome and visit with me and share their passion of sustainable organic farm to table dining experiences!!!! Likewise, they are spearheading reintroducing only the elite, 400 years ago could afford & taste, the most expensive Criollo Cacao in the world and have won golds in all it’s completions, locally n abroad as far as Paris, France, today!!!

    There are many interesting things to see and do in the area. However, transportation is a nightmare unless you book tours with companies that provide transportation. I noted that rental cars that you can drive yourself, are difficult to find and very expensive when you do find them. It seems that taxi's are only to be found at the Airport and thou reasonable at 300 pasos for a short trip across the city, it is difficult to find a taxi on the street. Tricycles (motorcycles with side cars) are ubiquitous in the city but uncomfortable, frequently overloaded and probably unsafe.
