- From US$479.73 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 242 reviewsSTAFF: The service their staff provides is kind of insane. They seemed to have everything we asked for. Every staff would greet and smile. All of them were very accommodating, especially Andy and Harry, who we would run to when we needed something and they always helped us out. The staff is definitely one of the reasons I would stay here again. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: The check-in process was a bit lengthy compared to hotels, but that's usually how it is for resorts. The check-out process was very fast though. The welcome drink was really good. ROOM: Every time we got back to our room, it's always newly cleaned and there were always snacks waiting for us! We always got excited seeing those :) I don't know who did it among our Housekeeping GEMs (Chona/Michie/Clinton/Kisses), but they have mastered the art of towel folding. They always left little notes which I thought was very sweet. The galaxy light was a nice touch too. My favourite part of the room was the plunge pool. SHUTTLE SERVICE: Getting from the airport to the resort was a breeze and it came with oatmeal cookies. We didn't have to do anything but follow where the staff tells us to go. They also have shuttle service between Stations 1 to 3 which was very convenient for us. FOOD/DRINK: The were plenty of breakfast choices at Sand's. The taho tatay shows up at 8am :) We also went for breakfast at Forno Osteria, which was more of a Western breakfast. Lunch and dinner options at Sand's were abundant. I especially loved the seafood they cooked on the spot upon ordering. LOCATION: The location is perfect! It is located at almost the end (I think) of Station 1 so it was a bit far from the beach activities (again, there's shuttle service) and away from the crowd. We mostly stayed at the resort so that didn't really matter to me. The beach is just right in front so it's perfect! OTHERS: We booked our activities with the hotel.Guest review byKrystelle MarieCanada
- From US$550.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 831 reviewsYou're promised a true taste of luxury at this resort - and it delivers 👌 We had a relaxing and refreshing stay at this resort. The staff are friendly and eager to help. The rooms are comfortable and classy. We fell in love with the comfort of the bed. You're only a minute away from the beach, and the pools are to die for. You have options between adult and kid pools. You can rotate between pools and never get bored. The best views are from the main adult only pools where you get to see the skyline and the ocean. The sunsets at Alona Beach are popular for a reason - it does get crowded on the beach, but it's worth it. Breakfast buffets are good. While the range isn't massive, the taste is delicious - especially the sweets! The in room dining experience and quality is top notch. My favorite highlight was enjoying the in-pool walk up bar and just cooling down in the pools.Guest review byJasonNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 5.4Passable - What previous guests thought, 489 reviewsClean and spacious room and bathroom. Love how they cook the omelette during the breakfast buffet. The veggie clear soup as well. Shoutout to the frontdesk officer Kris. Staff are helpful in many way even in suggesting what to do and where to go when in Cebu. The hotel has a nearby 24 hrs convenient store with branded overrun items that you can buy. The location is at the heart of the City. The 2 rooms booked for my family is overlooking the Cebu-Cordova link bridge. Will sure to come back.Guest review bySweetypenPhilippines
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,411 reviewsWe had a big and comfy bed and breakfast was good. We got new bottles of water and complimentary snacks every day. The beach is just next to the hotel and they also have a pool. There are also different activities in the hotel every day. We also booked a tour to chocolate hills and transfer from the seaport. We enjoyed our stay.Guest review byViljarEstonia

Cebu has its beautiful and calm areas which is awesome, however due to our location it was always an hour or so to get to these places, so my advice to future travellers is to choose a hotel outside the city centre, maybe more South West or South East where the beautiful beaches and waterfalls are situated.... A must have is Grab to get around, its safe and very affordable, however any beaches are far out of the city!Guest review bySolomonsVietnam - 10.0
Depends on what you want to do in Boracay.
Depends on what you want to do in Boracay. If you want to party and enjoy the crowded beach, go to the main Stations. If you want to enjoy privacy and tranquility with less to no crowd, then go to New Coast.Guest review byAdela MarieUnited States - 10.0

I like the people of Panglao and the places. We feel at home away from real home.Feeling of confident walking in the roads and markets.Specially the beaches..My family love the Alona ambiance. And been to Moadto Strip which has a nice free beach. And for our transportation we always book for Romelle and Edzel recommended by Nilo the property manager.Guest review byAnonymousPhilippines - 10.0

I had lived in Moalboal before. I was just back visiting a girlfriend. The Panagsama area, where the resort is located is great. Literally walked the entire area. Lots of different restaurants/bars. Plenty of different operators for activities, mostly sea related. It is a great area. I plan to move back next year.Guest review byBrianUnited States - 4.0

The road works and roads are an absolute mess with ongoing roadworks happening. The prices of food and drinks are very high almost double what I pay on the mainland. Some very nice travel and exploreing to do if you can hire a bike. Getting there and back is very easy. The beaches though around siquijor are very polluted with garbage and seaweed and not very inviting to swimGuest review byAlexanderPhilippines - 10.0

We loved our city tour esp. to the Garin Farm, Balay na Bato where we had a taste of hot choco and molo soup, visited various churches and tried the Roberto's siopao (so big that one is good for 2 persons), the famous Ilongo batchoy. We also explored Guimaras and our tour to Gigantes Islands is unforgettable esp. with the unli scallops served for lunch at the Lantangan beach.Guest review byFely M. LigsayPhilippines - 6.0

No really a friendly place to live or visit...The airport is small and uncomfortable...It's all about tokens or tips for people who are not even helping you with your luggage and NO Grab car/taxi service there...No place to eat buffet restaurants and it's hard to find cook tilapia fish there in restaurants...Guest review byAnthonyUnited States - 8.0
Though a small city, with the St Agustin Church & Plaza...
Though a small city, with the St Agustin Church & Plaza being the main attraction, the outskirts are beautiful and offer lot of things to do like in Silay, where beautiful Ancestral Heritage homes still stand after more than a century, as well as, very good food trip like El Ideal for their divine crispy thin piayas, guapple pie, and more. Pahanocoy is another outskirt that’s just a 20-minute public bus ride from SM Mall to organic farm FreshStart Organic & Natural where I had exquisite culinary experience in their Lanai Restaurant, 1 of 4, in its organic grounds. The owners & staff even made the time to welcome and visit with me and share their passion of sustainable organic farm to table dining experiences!!!! Likewise, they are spearheading reintroducing only the elite, 400 years ago could afford & taste, the most expensive Criollo Cacao in the world and have won golds in all it’s completions, locally n abroad as far as Paris, France, today!!!Guest review byLornaUnited States - 6.0
There are many interesting things to see and do in the area.
There are many interesting things to see and do in the area. However, transportation is a nightmare unless you book tours with companies that provide transportation. I noted that rental cars that you can drive yourself, are difficult to find and very expensive when you do find them. It seems that taxi's are only to be found at the Airport and thou reasonable at 300 pasos for a short trip across the city, it is difficult to find a taxi on the street. Tricycles (motorcycles with side cars) are ubiquitous in the city but uncomfortable, frequently overloaded and probably unsafe.Guest review byKhunYindeeUnited States
