Our Standard double room with small balcony & breakfast was great, we had a spectacular view of the Rio Corgo Gorge which was enhanced at night by floodlights. Our room came with breakfast, a comfortable bed, air conditioning, shower over the bath, TV, wardrobes and a small fridge. The balcony was large enough for us both to sit outside and enjoy an afternoon beverage. The hotel has 2 indoor pools the larger being 16 metres long, a very well equipped modern gym and outdoor sun leaners on the terrace and by the pool. The staff were great, very accommodating to our needs and friendly. We based ourselves here to visit the Douro Valley (no car) and being an easy 900 metre walk to the bus station to get to Regua, the valley and the MiraDouro Train made that easy. Great location.

This apartment is spacious and bright, the bedroom, living room and kitchen are all clean! Fully equipped. Air conditioning and hot water are very convenient. Pets are very welcome. Very suitable for family travel. The staff in the apartment are warm and service-oriented (including a beautiful girl). I will definitely come back if I have the chance.

The Casa offered us 2 huge rooms with comfy beds, very nice showers and bathrooms including all the necessities. The room features a mini-fridge, microwave, and kettle plus a kitchen sink so one could prepare some food, but the common kitchen is also available to use with complimentary coffee and tea all day. The place is very quiet for sleeping with only four rooms total, plus it's on a side street with a large verandah between the hotel and the street. It's located just behind the actual Correios building a few steps from the main pedestrian center, with access to many places to eat and shop. One added pleasure was that the hotel has been decorated like a museum, with artifacts from old post offices and artistic touches in the same theme. The cordial owner was pleased to show us all the nice pieces, like the old phones and signage. A excellent choice in a lovely city. We will return for a longer stay!

The host Celeste is an incredible person. The way we were welcomed at her place was so warm and kind that you feel immediately part of something meaningful. You think you stay there because you found a place that matched your criteria, but you stay because you had to meet this person in your life and continue your travelling journey with a warm smile in your heart. I really enjoyed everything. The accommodation is spacious but cozy, comfortable, and has everything you may need. The host Fábio, was helpful and provided several local recommendations. There are lot of things to try a few km distance and we tried a few of them like ride a horse and wine tasting, beside the hiking trails in Ermelo, Bilhó e Campanhó.

The stay was (as usual) absolutely excellent - nice space, rooms, garden, pools, and environment. This was a business trip and the accommodation was so refreshing. We liked this very much. Needless to say that also the breakfast was very good wich fresh bread, cheese, juice and eggs.
