I loved the outdoor swimming pool available at the exit from the terrace of our room, it's exceptional. I also loved the sun loungers around the pool but also facing the sea, on the sand ! The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from a tourist food area. I also appreciated the full breakfast with sea view as well as the salad at lunch. Congratulations also for the maintenance of the swimming pool which was always clean!

In regards to our stay, we liked the staff, always smiling and willing to help. We liked our greating with the ice-tea and the fact that one staff walked us to our room. The food and cocktails were delightful! The room that we had was fantastic, amenities were great, the view was spectacular of the ocean, beautiful garden, swimming pool was a wonder, plus we had our own private pool which was lovely:)

Absolutely amazing! A hotel in a quiet area, just few meters away from the beach. Supermarket and restaurants around the corner. Good soundproofing, A/C in rooms. The rooms are not big, but very clean and accurate. The bathrooms are renovated and the rest of the furniture is in good condition, too. The staff is staff is super friendly and helpful. I absolutely recommend this place.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. A room with a large balcony, a large and clean pool. Breakfast with a good selection and delicious fresh fruit for breakfast. Large parking lot. The lobby is very nice. We especially want to thank the friendly and helpful bartender Frank! His English language skills were a big help for us!

Nice and very busy area (on the beachside and centre) and...

Nice and very busy area (on the beachside and centre) and very lively at night. However, 5-10 min away (where our hotel was situated), it's very calm (which we liked for a good night's rest). Although we moved around the island a lot, St Gilles was a good starting point to acces all the places we wanted to visit.

The Town centre, where the tourism office is situated, has many restaurants around the square The town beach is sandy, shark net, but very steep It is next to the harbour The City Carrefour is very good but up the hill We think L'hermitage beach, with lagoon and coral reef is better and has a better feel etc in the town area of L'hermitage It is only 3 Km to the south

Lots of souvenir shops, interesting port and marina area.

Lots of souvenir shops, interesting port and marina area. Try 'Kid Creole' for some authentic cheap food, obviously with Dodo beer... Plage de L'Ermitage is worth a visit if you have time. ULM ultralight flight is only 30 minutes away, and is a fantastic early morning experience, not to be missed!
