HungaryViktor and his wife were helpful from the start, recommended sights to see, offerend all the utilities and the kithcen even cleaned everyhing for use even though we ate the food we 've brought with us. The house was clean, the bed was comfy, we could use the fridge/freezer in the common kitchen and since noone was there but our gropup it was really convenient.
The house is by the road but it wasnt loud our anything because my room's window was facing the yard.
Had a lovely weekend there, would recommend any day.

Pensiunea Poienița Apusenilor exceeded all expectations! The location is stunning, nestled in the beautiful Apuseni Mountains with peaceful views of the river and forest. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated with solid wood furniture and private balconies — perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air.
The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We loved the outdoor spaces: the garden, the wooden swings and the cozy place with a grill. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area made it easy to prepare meals, and the atmosphere was relaxing and authentic.

Beautiful location. The room was clean and spacious and we had the best nights sleep. The owner was very friendly and helpful in giving us directions to find the place and where to eat.

Cabana Daria3 was a perfect choice for our trip, for 2 families with children. The property contains 3 houses, but it is big enough that we felt it private. The property was clean and tidy, equipped with everything what you need for a few days trip. in area of 20-30 min by car there are a planty of locations to wisit, caves, waterfalls, hiking routes.

It is a small village, but well placed to visit the surroundings. We hiked on Petreasa Peak, second day we went to visit some caves and waterfalls. The location is close to Arieseni (mountain area, ski area, with a lot of things to do). There are some gems to visit in the nearby (Scarisoara, Pestera Poarta lui Ionele, Izbucul Tauz)

Arieseni is one of my darling ski resorts, since my youth, when it was just a village with a snowy hill closeby. Today is a tourist destination in Transylvania and Apuseni Mountains, a hub for both day trips or weklong backpacking hikes. There are caves and canyons to visit, horseback rides, steam train adventures and just breathtaking beauty landscapes.
There are plenty of family restaurants (if you are looking for a McDonalds, you're in the wrong place), with delicious local food (try the trout, the polenta or the thick gulash soup). Visit the unique caves of Scarisoara (the world biggest ice cave) or Bears Cave, where 141 cave bears died 17000 years ago) or ride the vintage steam train along the Aries Valley.
