Bran Castle is also known as Dracula's Castle but there is no real link with either the historical or fictional Dracula. Nevertheless, the view from the hotel is spectacular. The hotel's restaurant is very good: try the platter of local cheeses with the Fume Blanc white wine. (Unlike in the UK, a cheese board is considered to be a starter in Romania.) Breakfast was huge - I think we only managed to eat about 30% of it. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Off-street parking is available at the back of the hotel.

Very clean, comfortable, modern. Breakfasts are very tasty. Nearby there is a shop, a restaurant. A good place to relax, the pool is not big, but there were not many people either.

Claudia and Russel made this residence a "Perferct Ten". Full of happy surprises, perfect room, great location, super value for money, clean, large, with a bathroom I could live in, all places were warm, perfect temperature. Our stay was perfect! The room was warm and clean, and it felt like the perfect place to relax. It was snowing when we arrived, which made everything even more magical. The sauna and hot tub were amazing, especially with the cold weather outside. The views were beautiful, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again!
