A perfect relaxing place. Close to the national park, embedded in a nice tranquil village. Food, service and attention are outstanding. The food is mostly homegrown, the owners are nice to chat with and help to organise everything. After a week of hectic conference in Kigali this was the perfect place to hang out. Thank you!

Akagera Guest House is rustic with no frills. They provided a fabulous home cooked meal after Egide took myself and my teenage kids to the market to buy what we wanted for that evening catering for veggie and pescatarian.
Super friendly at a great price.
Also cannot praise Egide highly enough for sorting everything to visit the National Park the next day with no fuss or bother again at a great price for myself and 3 children.
Highly recommend it.
Akagera Neighbors in Kabarondo has a bar and a shared lounge. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace.

Absolutely the nicest stay we had in Rwanda. The hotel is located in a centre with local pub, billiards, supermarket, fast food with delicious barbecue and hairdresser. The garden is cozy with seating areas. The hosts, staff and people in the village were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Close to Akagera National Park, the hosts arranged a car and a guided tour. Good breakfast and well-functioning Internet. One of the employees washed and ironed my white shirt. Fantastic stay, highly recommended. Thanks to all the fine people at AKAGERA Neighbors. Here we'll come back again...

Everything here was perfect, the rooms had all facilities you can ask for, clean confortable and very quiet. It is located inside the Akagera park, so searching for wildlife is just perfect as long as you are inside the park. Breakfast and dinner had a great option and the staff was wonderful throughout.
There is a pool overlooking the lake and the border with Tanzania and at night the set fire to sit around and enjoy a drink in a campsite looking area.
I will be back here, this is what you need after a full day of exploring the park to relax and recharge . Loved it.

I cannot even express the gratitude I have for people and this place! They went above and beyond, do not hesitate to stay here, dont bother looking anywhere else, this is the place to stay, the rooms are immaculate, they washed our clothes, prepared our food which tasted phenomenal, I dream about the tilapia! They went all out for my husbands birthday, arranged for halal meat! Wow! Couldn't believe it! Best hotel ive ever stayed in, truly and I have travelled the world, they even organised our tour for the national park, exceptional! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone! Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart!

We love the space, its was very comfortable with amazing view. We loved the activities provided such as kayaking. Great location as well. The price is on the higher side but it is justified by the full board services and other free activities. Nice place to networking also esp with the concept of community dinner.
