Loved every minute of our stay, super friendly and attentive hotel personnel, amazing quality of food and wine in the restaurant, lovely views on the lake, beautifully designed rooms. A big praise to our waiter during dinner time and an young man at the reception upon our check-in, within few minutes he managed to get us an extra duvet and two additional pillows for us for a good night sleep. Also an applause to the team behind the branding, an amazing piece of work:)

We was lucky to stay Bohinj River House only weeks after the grand opening. The place already is a very nice and beautiful place. The staff was lovely taking care of us during our stay. BRH is a hidden gem that will continue blooming. Be sure we will be back 🤗❤️

This was a wonderful place for us to stay during our ride across Slovenia— they made space for our bikes and the garage .     The apartment amenities were 5 star in terms of furnishing, design,decorationd,lighting, kitchen supplies, bathroom and storage. This included an espresso machine with Lilly cspsules and milk frother and induction stove. I loved the occitane soap and shampoo provided in the shower. You could tell that an incredible amount of effort went into desiging this modern apartment. The view of the mountains from the geranium boxed balcony and windows was amazing. We also received a beutiful folder of information about activities in the area which was very useful. The grounds were 5 star. The property sits on the sparkling green river with multiple benches and or wooden picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors. You can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes and the waterfall hike from the apartment or just stroll along the many paths around the lake or into the mountsins. The vogel ski gondolla is just a 5 min drive or short walk. The nearest market is about 10 minute drive although you can walk to a restaurant/bar.

    We liked the location (10 min to the lake and 15min to Mercator store in Ribčev laz, cycling trail runs just next to it), the fact they have a bar/restaurant and parking. We enjoyed the new apartment. It has everything you need (kitchen, sofa, TV, big bed, big fridge). The host is very kind and available, with lots of experience and you can see they live for what they do. We enjoyed the breakfast (although small, there are at least two kinds of cheese and salami, various bread roll types, fresh vegetables, eggs, coffee and tea). Keep up the good work! We will certainly stop by again :) Thank you!

    This was the most beautiful incredible place I have ever stayed at. Jana, the host is so incredible and so interesting. She really takes care of you and she’s so much fun. She’s informative and very educated and we were both crazy about her. It’s along this beautiful crystal clear river with chairs right by the river and a 5 minute walk to Lake Bohinj. We plan to return. It is very special.

    We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...

    We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

    The breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of food and a great variety. The food was really delicious. We truly enjoyed the accommodation, and the hotel owner was lovely, helping us with every question and everything we needed. We got caught in the snow in the mountains, and the hotel owner drove us in his own car – it was so kind and definitely not something to be taken for granted. I highly recommend this place ☺️

    The town of Bohinjska Bistrica didn't impress us but the...

    The town of Bohinjska Bistrica didn't impress us but the Bohinj lake a few kilometers away is the main attraction anyway and it is beautiful. There is a nice cyclepath from Bohinjska Bistrica to the lake with a few steep parts and soon the whole cyclepath from lake Bled to Bohinj will be completed. There are also some other routes around Bohinjska Bistrica but the area might be a bit constricted for serious cyclists. In July and August there is too much traffic for serious road cycling if you don't like a lot of traffic but we were told that from September it is much more quiet.

    Good location - just the middle between Bohinj and Bled...

    Good location - just the middle between Bohinj and Bled lakes. Quiet area but in the morning we heard some cars from distant route and also train once per day. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We got free pack of local eggs on arrive. We were living in upper floor. The accommodation had everything we need for nice stay. The beds are a bit hard and noisy. Also I would add nets on the windows because there is no AC and opening window at night time might cause problems with mosquitos. Overall - recommended

    For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water activities, nature wonders, local traditions, kind people, nice beaches, swimming, and on top would like to experiment flying like birds (paragliding) ! Do not hesitate, come visit Bohinj. And plan to stay long to enjoy all what it offers.
