Really does feel like space. Staff were friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast and seafood breakfast had a big range. Lots of great amenities you don’t want to leave the hotel. The fine details of the decor was amazing.

staffs amazing, food excellent and lots of different food .The Chef and his staff were the best . you ask what you want and he will deliver, Room clean by SA on the 8 floor Very nice lady. alwaystook her shoes off when she came in. She took care of us with special gifts.Bed and sheets was comfy. . we asked for an extra chair for the balcony and it was deliver in 2 minutes Beautiful gym with AC also cooler water to refill, Beautiful Sauna and bathroom at the pool and very clean. We used the stairs often and never saw dirty stairs. I will give a 5 stars and I diffently coming back .

If you went there for the girlie bars 10 out of 10. Walking street was disappointing from the street. The baht busses were good but you had to plan your trip according to the direction the buses went. Plenty of good food places at reasonable prices. Shopping centres catered for expensive tastes.

The rooms were alright and big in size apart from that nothing else to talk about Huge hotel but they aren’t doing anything interesting for the stay to be an experience Beach missing in tha size of a resort is a bummer

Jomtiem beach. Away from the busier central Pattaya area. But plenty of bars, street food, massages and all that you need. Access to the beach obviously. More family friendly than Pattaya. Local bhat buses service Beach Road 247 so if you want to hit central you can. Recommended but don't tell everyone...ooh great night market full of food. As well as a more 'local' night market were there more Thais eating and hanging out.

Beaches are filled with litter and the water is murky and small areas designated for swimming. Ok to sunbathe and relax but not good for swimming. Prices have gone up significantly as compared to my previous two visits. Massage parlors have changed into these factory cutter style shops with massage chairs next to one another, bright lights, no privacy, no way to relax. Locals seemed to have “tourist-fatigue” much more impatient and money driven. Food was great as usual, but less fresh seafood choices available.

It was lovely there, definitely the nice part of Pattaya.

It was lovely there, definitely the nice part of Pattaya. Much quieter and more relaxing. If you prefer to be in amongst the hustle and bustle, you would probably prefer to stay in the city centre. Although it was a very short cheap uber or taxi/scooter ride to the city centre.

The island is very good if you just want to relax.

The island is very good if you just want to relax. Many quiet beaches. Most hotels have live music on, and they play easy listen music. If you want to unwind and just chill i would recommend this island.

What I've seen was fantastic.

What I've seen was fantastic. In so many ways, there are a lot of fun hideaways...that you can't mention them all. Feel free to get lost often. I know I did and loved it. After dark on a cycle...not as much. But day time...just go for it! Don't forget to stop by some of the road side restaurants for your favorite drink.

I like this area because it is a short distance to the...

I like this area because it is a short distance to the hustle and bustle of Pattaya or Jomtien, but it is quieter and less expensive. If you're looking for a party atmosphere, this isn't it. But if you're looking for laid back bars and restaurants and affordable hotels and vacation rentals near the beach, it's great.

The arrival spot ,near the ferry, has not really a beach and is not attractive to stay . but is mostly water front . You best hire a scooter to go around to other beaches. But all beaches are crowed with tourist from Pattaya who come to a nice beach experience. Lots of loud water sports and crowd. The island must have been very beautiful and quite once.

Rayong is a not too big city on the Gulf of Thailand with great beaches. what I miss is good restaurants and coffee houses. it is all very Thai, not clean, a lot is broken and will never be repaired. streets are good, Thai driving crazy and dangerous. Thailand is the number one in road accidents and casualties in the world. Thai just do not care. that has also its positive, Thai are not easy to shock. see the acceptance of gay and so on.
