BelgiumThe owners are very friendly and welcoming. Jan and Enzo do everything to make sure you have a good stay. The atmosphere of the guesthouse is really nice and it is easy to meet people. The dormitory is spacious and clean. Possibility to eat on site and Jan's food is delicious. Very nice stay to spend there.

I recommend booking the bungalow which has the small private pool (there's only one), it's a nice feature and we appreciated the privacy. The staff was great, very professional. The bunglow was comfortable, spacious and well appointed. There's a fitness center which was never crowded. Motorbike rentals were available at the resort at a very resonable rate - it's really the only way around the island if you want to explore. The food was excellent, breakfast was included but lunch and dinner were extra but resonably priced. There's no 7-11 on the island, but there is a small shop within the resort where you can purchase toiletries, snacks and beverages. Loved the beach swings and hammocks. Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Koh Kood was absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful, very peaceful, and not crowded like other islands. It’s a true gem in the otherwise quite touristy Thailand. The island has retained its charm and natural beauty. The only downside was the presence of many sandflies on the beaches.
