We spent 2 days at Sunrise Koh Tao, Walking distance from the Ferry. We were pleased with the room given to us, we had a beautiful view of the beach and Mae Mae the host who helped us with our check-in and excursions had a great hospitality. The place is clean and you can sit by the restaurant, work or enjoy a drink by the beach. You can even swim at the beach. The sea was very very calm. Staff at Sunrise was extremely polite and helpful with the renting of a bike or even planning the day excursions. Sunrise is located at the center of everything with less noise. If your looking for a long stay at Koh Tao then Sunrise is the perfect place.

The hotel has really nice spacious rooms. They can pick you up from the pier and drop you back there when your stay is over. The staff are really friendly. The hotel is located near many restaurants and stores, making it really convenient. If you don't ride motorbikes, you can walk from there to popular beaches and snorkeling points, like Ao Leuk, Shark Bay and more (if you don't bother walking up and down some hills). They also have a shuttle service to some beaches. Very good AC in the room.

Very wonderful and well maintained property that is run as a family business. It’s perfectly located in the middle of the island. The cafe makes it very convenient to have breakfast at the property, you get 10% off as well including surrounding shops as well (the ramen shop next to the cafe was amazing too!). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - I forgot my passport when I left the island and they did not hesitate to immediately send it by boat to me.

Hotel is really nice and well located (10mn driving from pier, 10mn walking/2mn driving from restaurants and nightlife). Calm atmosphere, nice view, easy shuttle to pier or town. Strengh of the place is however the scuba diving school. Hotel has a dedicated 3.5m deep pool to practice. Not sure I could have found a better place to do my Open Water certification. Johnny was the perfect teacher. humanly and technically skilled as well as really friendly and funny. I don't see how I could have had a better trainer.

The location is perfect, with the hotel situated right on the beach and close to the pier. The room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, including complimentary bottles of water provided daily. We had a beach view, which was the cherry on top. The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful and kind. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything was overall very good. The sea view from my room was absolutely outstanding, truly a highlight of the experience. The hotel beach is calm and pleasant, and it was easy to meet nice, relaxed people there. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

A small paradise, directly at the beach, but at the end of it, so it is not loud at night. Extremely friendly staff that helped with every little request. Clean and beautiful villa. Very nice restaurant and beach area. Definitely the best place we visited during our Thailand trip.

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in...

We came here to have a relaxing week during National Week in October. My husband and daughter had some of the best scuba diving experiences and they would definitely love to go back and do more dives (yet there are so many other places to go and see....). We stayed in the southeast for the first part of the trip, and found that to be a bit secluded - great resort, but a little too isolated and cut off for us overall. The second half we stayed in Sairee Beach area and it was amazing! So much going on and great restaurants and sunset views at your fingertips. We had wanted to rent scooters to explore the island more, but after seeing the condition of the roads (very steep and sharp turns), and so many people with "Thailand tattoos" from road rash, we decided against it, so we didn't get to see as much as we'd hoped. Maybe next time....

Excellent town and beaches stunning view's from my hotel right in beach , golden sands lots bars and restaurants available on beach and in town , excellent ferry service and transfer to hotel lots beach activities available crystal clear waters wonderful food in town excellent shopping mall and night market, great place to enjoy for all family very safe place highly recommended visiting recommended use the ferry service for all your transfer they very well organised and peace of mind
