Lop Buri is a charming city to explore for 4-5 days.

Lop Buri is a charming city to explore for 4-5 days. The old center is filled with ancient temples and even offers the chance to see monkeys up close. The city exudes the peaceful atmosphere of a quiet provincial town, making it a relaxing getaway. However, finding affordable and delicious food can be a challenge. Food prices in the old center are relatively high, with limited options in street markets and cafes. A highlight of our visit was the Lop Buri Zoo. It is small but cozy, with friendly staff and an entrance fee of just 30 baht. Highly recommended for a brief, memorable stay!

The hotel location is not far from mini-marts, restaurants...

The hotel location is not far from mini-marts, restaurants and the night market, but you need transport to visit any tourist sites. There is such a lot to see in the vicinity. We loved it here now that the monkeys no longer dominate the town.

We spent two nights here to see the Monkey Festival.

We spent two nights here to see the Monkey Festival. It was much lower key than we've seen in videos of previous years due to some population control/movement of monkeys. That said, it was just enough to be interesting and fun.

Ended up staying at the Tatiphob Hotel and we were very happy, especially with the staff and management. They were very charming and helpful. Driving the 311 through town is like taking your life in your hands. I think that I would have felt safer if the Monkeys were driving the cars and scooters. Actually, come to think of it.... There were lots of great places to visit just a comfortable day drive around Lop Buri. I would definitely recommend a visit to Lop Buri and the surroundings. Lots to see
