ThailandThe whole experience at Khao Lak Marriott was wonderful from the moment of arrival, parking our car, assistance with our bags, and an easy check-in. An electric buggy whisked us to our room, which was delightful, immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and bedding. The sandy beach was clean, overlooking the quiet and inviting Andaman Sea, plus the choice of resort pools allowed for some serious or playful swimming. All resort staff were exceptional, helpful, knowledgeable, and always with a warm greeting and a smile. Good buffet breakfast included in the price and wide food choice otherwise available all day at the resort. Thank you, Marriott, for a lovely stay.

FranceOur stay in Phang Nga is one of our favorite parts of our trip in Thailand ! The hotel is beautiful, very well integrated in the surrounding landscape. We really enjoyed staying is the little not touristy town, away from the crowds but still super convenient to explore the bay. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the manager helped us organise a private longtail boat tour in the bay and even dropped us off at the bus station when we had to leave! They also offer an excellent thai breakfast with sticky rice and pancakes. Don't miss this place, it's definitly worth staying for a few days to explore the area!

We had as an couple an excellent and very friendly stay at the Haven Khao Lak.
Hotel itself is beautiful and the general feeling was very peaceful and there was this sense of serenity.
Pool is excellent, very large and you definitely can do long distance swimming practice there if you want. Pool was clean also. Enjoyed it a lot.
Room was beautiful and good quality. Beds gave us lovely sleeps. Air-conditioning works very well and you can adjust it how you like. We didn't hear any noises from other rooms, it was peaceful and nice.
Gym was good. Hotel activities were excellent and fun, highly recommend having them, you can get to know with other hotel visitors that way also if you want.
Breakfast was well made, coffee is served to the table. Service excellent!
I liked this restaurant a lot, food had very good taste. Thanks to the chefs. We actually visited this hotel's restaurant quite often while staying in the hotel, excellent surroundings and service again.
You also get free ride to certain restaurant from the hotel if you want to visit other places also. There are also few other places to eat 500m walk from the hotel. We didn't go to them but heard that those are good options also.
One of the best things is the beach, it's so peaceful and quiet, there is in front of the hotel on the beach some benches and hammocks and swings, think about watching the sunset there without any restaurant buzzing or other things, just peace and a painting that slowly changes, light breeze and ocean making it's sounds.
You can rent a scooter from the hotel like we did, no problems, easy and quiet drive to the main road. There are some rental firms at Khao Lak that also deliver scooter to the hotel for little price if you like that option. Good secure parking for the scooter.
The staff deserves extra mention as they were very friendly and helpful, if we had any problems they were very willingly to help us out.

Staying at Cape Kudu was the perfect ending to our Thailand vacation.
We arrived with speedboat from Bang Rong pier on Phuket, 400 baht/person, and the trip lasted about 45min. When we arrived to the pier, we were pleased to notice that Cape Kudu has a private waiting lounge. When we arrived to the island, the taxis (tuktuks) were already waiting for us (100 baht/person). Arriving to Cape Kudu, we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff.
The room with seaview was beautiful, with breathtaking view. It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was also really nice, private, with comfortable furniture and fan.
The pool area was nicely arranged, the ''adults only'' swimming pool being a great addition, and with enough sunbeds for everyone. The breakfasts were to die for, with a large selection of delicious, freshly prepared food for every taste (eggs, thai dishes, fruits, waffles and pancakes etc.). The compliments for their food and drinks also go to the hotel bar and restaurant.
Cape Kudu also offers several activities. We decided to go on 4-island private long-tailed boat trip, which was the highlight of our stay - we snorkled, went up to the viewpoint of Koh Hong and saw beautiful beaches all without the masses of other tourists. We would really reccommend this trip to everyone staying at Cape Kudu!
We would also like to say thank you once again to the lovely staff at Cape Kudu - they were always helpful, so friendly, even offering a staff-guests meeting with snacks where we could talk to them 1 on 1, telling them firsthand about our experiences at the hotel.
Overall, we recommend this hotel to everyone who just wants to relax and enjoy in pure nature.

Six Senses Yao Noi is set in the most stunning location, blending breathtaking natural beauty with luxury and sustainability. The wildlife and lush surroundings create a vibrant island vibe, seamlessly integrated into the resort’s design without disrupting nature.
The level of food and drinks was unparalleled—honestly, the best coffee we’ve ever had abroad, and every meal was an unforgettable experience.
There were plenty of activities, including a magical James Bond movie screening under the stars (as a part of the "Living Room" restaurant). The peaceful integration with nature made us feel like we were in a luxurious treehouse.
Our Hideaway Villa was perfect, with a fantastic bath and thoughtful mosquito management through fogging and natural repellents. Pool was amazing and so as the outdoors seating and dining area.

The hotel staff was amazing, offering free ice cream and complimentary activities like paddleboarding and kayaking, always with a helping hand.
Even the transfer to the airport was flawless, with staff escorting us all the way to the check-in counter, handling our luggage from start to finish.
The overall vibe was intimate and familial, making the experience even more special.

Staff were exceptional throughout and always on hand to help.
Good range of activities including games rooms, kids play area, bikes (free hire), and paddle boats.
Rooms were kept clean and orderly each day.
Little touch for my birthday from staff dressing up the room.
Cafes and nice restaurants were easily accessed within 10min walk just needed to explore outside the resort.

The location and the welcome by Simon and the team set a great sense of expectation. They did not disappoint. The ease of transportation organized by the hotel from the mainland to the hotel and return was extremely straightforward and efficient. The service by the staff was outstanding. They were really pleasant and created a happy atmosphere. The outlay of our treetop villa was perfect and the Spa was a dream.

Lovely strip of mainland beaches that reaches north for around 20kms; less frenetic than Phuket but still with plenty of casual beach restaurants and massages; lots of restaurants on the main road within easy walking distance of resorts; close to golf courses and nature reserves for adventure activities and also within closer reach of the spectacular Similian and Surin Islands (high season only from November to March); a great choice of accommodation from simple guest houses and bungalows to international-branded resorts with every imaginable facility and activity, great options for every type of holiday from a multi-generational family reunion to a quiet getaway for couples; easily reached by a good road from Phuket International Airport in one hour, the same time taken to reach some Phuket hotels from the airport during busy periods.

Must visit island in thailand. Must visit for atleast 4 days, serene islands, very less population, all essential and necessary things are available. Great experience. Laem Had beach during low tide, loh chak for activities, Loh pared for great sunset at the pier. Great food and seaside culinaries available at every doorstep.

We went in May with a group of friends and found it a low key and relaxing island. Beautiful beaches and a few places to explore. I think scooter hire is a must-have to be able to get around...that was a highlight for us just cruising around the island! The hike to the 'big tree' was way harder than expected but the gorgeous secluded beach at the end made it worth it. In low season it seems like at least half the restaurants and shops are closed so you can't rely on google to tell you where to go, sometimes you just have to drive around and see what's open.

Lots of things to photograph here. Street photography, landscape, seascapes, drones, portraits, temples, wildlife. The Elephant Cave was awesome, and we even arranged to photograph it with our tripods. Lots of monkeys were running around. We took our scooters about 20 minutes away to a dock and launched drones to capture beautiful river deltas. About an hour away was a nice sunset spot called Samet Nangshe.

If you want to visit a clean beach for swimming and water activities, this is not a good option. there was plastic and other rubbish every where, both on shore and in the water. The resorts locally are lovely though and still worth staying at. We stayed at Santhiya and it was wonderful. The best thing about this area is it is not overcrowded and the locals are lovely

Beautiful beach with soft sand, safe warm sea. Very quiet. Have to hire a scooter or taxi to get around. Can walk along the beach to other resorts but too far to walk elsewhere. No shopping or night life!

This is an Island that still full of natures.
This is an Island that still full of natures. It has 16 Kilometers of beaches, coral life that can be seen in shallow water, a lots of birds including rare Hornbills, hundreds of deers, mangrove forest, unique savannah grass land, etc. Native people (sea nomad) are living quietly in small villages.
It is very clean and safe. Located near mainland. Only take 40 minutes ride on a slow boat in a calm sea.

Nice village feel. perfect if you want proximity but a bit of quiet without the overan tourist hustle and bustle of patong etc. Id recommend for couples , singles wanting to chillout. Its not a party place-no nightclubs and that is its appeal to me

The island is great, just do not stay at the Santiva hotel it is horrible. It looks great… but the staff is a disgrace to thai culture and thai people. The people on the island are super nice and sympathic, just great as long as you have nothing to do with Santiva resort

If you want peace and quiet and seclusion, this is the place! Be aware that you are there to relax and will be paying higher prices for items such as food an drink. It makes sense as they have to ship everything in.
That being said, everything is made with care and delicious! They do have two happy hours from 5-6 and 9-10 on the beach.
Lots of honeymooners! I went with my two adult sons, it was a stop in between Krabi and Phuket and it was perfect to get away from the crazy and chill. Take their boat transfer too!
