It was an amazing place to stay, beautiful rooms, great location and wonderful staff. We also had the added bonus that we could use the facilities from the Sands by Katathani. The staff would even drop us via golf cart up at the main road to get dinner/shop!

its a beautiful new resort with a lot of green and walkways with beautiful gardens. looks like they grow their own spices and also have some chickens running around in there as well. the kids club is exceptionally good with loads of playstuff and a great staff that enjoys playing with the kids. beautuful sports amenities and the food is also very nice. the pools are great and theres a fun pool with water stuff for kids. but also a more quiter pool for normal swimming. the beach side is fantastic with natural shade from the trees. more than enough beach chairs. bangsak beach area is very nice with some small restaurants on the beach too if you dont want to spend too much on the food at the hotel.

Six Senses Yao Noi is set in the most stunning location, blending breathtaking natural beauty with luxury and sustainability. The wildlife and lush surroundings create a vibrant island vibe, seamlessly integrated into the resort’s design without disrupting nature. The level of food and drinks was unparalleled—honestly, the best coffee we’ve ever had abroad, and every meal was an unforgettable experience. There were plenty of activities, including a magical James Bond movie screening under the stars (as a part of the "Living Room" restaurant). The peaceful integration with nature made us feel like we were in a luxurious treehouse. Our Hideaway Villa was perfect, with a fantastic bath and thoughtful mosquito management through fogging and natural repellents. Pool was amazing and so as the outdoors seating and dining area. unmatched privacy!! The hotel staff was amazing, offering free ice cream and complimentary activities like paddleboarding and kayaking, always with a helping hand. Even the transfer to the airport was flawless, with staff escorting us all the way to the check-in counter, handling our luggage from start to finish. The overall vibe was intimate and familial, making the experience even more special.

Let’s try to list the main points: - location: the hotel is in the middle of the jungle in the most north point on a non-touristic island, perfect to spend few days in total relaxation and isolation on its private beach. - the views: both the view from the boat during the transfer coming from Phuket airport (that the hotel can book for you), and the view from the room being elevated - the private infinity pool - the activity center: if you want to do some trips and activities, the hotel has an activity center that offers various excursions to the amazing islands around of Koh Yao Noi. They differ in length and cost, and the staff will nicely help you choose the best one for you. They also organize visits to the local village in the south on the island, and the nice morning yoga class that we appreciated a lot. - nice and available staff

Everything from room, service, environment, food I love it that the room is private yet you feel open, pool villa was surrounded by many trees, you can see squirrel, birdy and even frogs inside the room. The beach itself, although most if the time with rough wave, but yet it is fun to play with Food is good too! Only thing is I requested for anniversary decoration but they didnt do, but its fine. The staff there are all friendly enough to make this up. They dont have much units and it is attached to a private beach, so you can enjoy the sea and beach peacefully. Be sure to catch the pink sunset too!

Breakfast was fair enough to enjoy, although there were many visitors. We had an unforgettable experience. On the first night of our stay, there was a sudden loud noise which turned out to be the breaking down of the airconditioning compressor. The front desk and security members promptly checked and changed the room to a tranquil place. All the people working in the hotel were so kind and smile.

What a lovely find. The beach front location on Khao Lak Beach was superb 👌 The beach was quiet, and the sunsets were fabulous. The hotel is split into two sections on either side of a very quiet road, so check where your room is before you book. Both sides have their own pool but you can use either. The breakfast buffet was really good and the staff were so helpful

Absolutely loved this place. We had the pool access room and wow was that amazing. The views and the convenience was just next level. We came to relax and chill and that is exactly what we did. Ohh …what I liked most was definitely the location situated on a beautiful beach with stunning sunsets. I had a sea view room and the room had the best bed I ever tried in Thailand… really comfortable. The breakfast is served by the beach and it’s only a 10/15 minutes walk to one of the city centres.

Nice village feel. perfect if you want proximity but a bit of quiet without the overan tourist hustle and bustle of patong etc. Id recommend for couples , singles wanting to chillout. Its not a party place-no nightclubs and that is its appeal to me

Must visit island in thailand. Must visit for atleast 4 days, serene islands, very less population, all essential and necessary things are available. Great experience. Laem Had beach during low tide, loh chak for activities, Loh pared for great sunset at the pier. Great food and seaside culinaries available at every doorstep.

We went in May with a group of friends and found it a low key and relaxing island. Beautiful beaches and a few places to explore. I think scooter hire is a must-have to be able to get around...that was a highlight for us just cruising around the island! The hike to the 'big tree' was way harder than expected but the gorgeous secluded beach at the end made it worth it. In low season it seems like at least half the restaurants and shops are closed so you can't rely on google to tell you where to go, sometimes you just have to drive around and see what's open.

Lots of things to photograph here. Street photography, landscape, seascapes, drones, portraits, temples, wildlife. The Elephant Cave was awesome, and we even arranged to photograph it with our tripods. Lots of monkeys were running around. We took our scooters about 20 minutes away to a dock and launched drones to capture beautiful river deltas. About an hour away was a nice sunset spot called Samet Nangshe.

If you want to visit a clean beach for swimming and water activities, this is not a good option. there was plastic and other rubbish every where, both on shore and in the water. The resorts locally are lovely though and still worth staying at. We stayed at Santhiya and it was wonderful. The best thing about this area is it is not overcrowded and the locals are lovely

Beautiful beach with soft sand, safe warm sea. Very quiet. Have to hire a scooter or taxi to get around. Can walk along the beach to other resorts but too far to walk elsewhere. No shopping or night life!

Thai Muang is a very quiet area, it is nice if you are...

Thai Muang is a very quiet area, it is nice if you are looking to get away from the busy tourist areas. The beach is a long expanse of clean white beach with a few fisherman dotted along the coast. We visited the Phang Nga Coastal Fisharies Research and Development Centre in the area and it was nice to see their conservation efforts with the turtles. The traders and small local market in the main street sell fresh delicious Thai snacks and food.

Koh Panyee is worth to visit.

Koh Panyee is worth to visit. There are a lot of tours from Phuket, or from Krabi, which are not so cheap, and they stops in this island only a half hour. If you want to stay a longer time, you can buy a private boat from Tha Dan pier, or there is a local boat between about 9am-4pm. This is the cheapest one, it cost only 50-150 baht for one way. There is a hotel in the island. After 6pm no tourists in Koh Panyee, only a few people, who staying this hotel. The restaurants use touristic prices, no food under 200-250 baht.

Lots to do in this area and easier to manage logistics...

Lots to do in this area and easier to manage logistics compared to Phuket. We missed the Similans due to weather. Khao Sok national park is a must see though. We also did hot springs - the posh hotel and thought it was v good. Market was much better than Bangkok and Phuket. Highly recommend dinner at the Fat Shark.

The island is great, just do not stay at the Santiva hotel it is horrible. It looks great… but the staff is a disgrace to thai culture and thai people. The people on the island are super nice and sympathic, just great as long as you have nothing to do with Santiva resort
