Gorgeous location at a bend in the river. It was the height of the rainy season, with strong currents, so no chance of jumping in for a swim. But the location was beautiful and the rooms were well designed with sturdy nets suspend over the water and big pillows to help make loungers comfortable. Ordered the Thai barbecue set at our room and had fun grilling and broiling. Definitely will return in the future!

The accommodation, the food and the staff were fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and build with a lot of love. The staff were always very friendly and extremely helpful. Once the remote control for an air conditioning unit broke down. Of course we couldn't get a new one in the evening. However, a mobile air conditioning unit was provided instead until the new remote control arrived the next day. Fantastic! We also took the trip on the bamboo raft and that was a very special experience. We actually spent most of the time floating in the river next to the boat with our life jackets on. That was sooo great and unforgettable. Thanks again for everything. We would love to come back.

Really good stay in this little homestay! Nothing luxuary but very confy. The staff make you feel like home. There is a tiny shop and a local restaurant you don't want to miss if you like authentic Thai food 🤤

If your looking for a quiet luxury place at an extraordinary location with great hospitality you have to visit. The luxury floating hotel is one of a kind. Enjoyed this place very much, everything is well organized like the transport from and to Phukatien Pier. You can btw reach the pier with Grab, but not for the trip back to Bangkok. Book a transfer in advance.

Super raft ride .. last visit we had a boat ride .. seems larger since 2023 .. nice treat that was welcomed. Clean, yes it is old but reasonably well maintained. Biggest issue was a booking error but rectified by them at no extra cost .. that was more than welcomed as we did not need stress after a long journey . Thank you .

The resort was in the area where where we wanted to be, which is why we chose it. It was very quiet with only a handful of guests. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a couple of minor issues which were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Sai Yok is great for people wanting to visit beautiful natural wonders and the terrible death railway of WW11. However, information is often incorrect and wrong most locals have no English. I researched extensively and even that was not enough most websites offer information that is ab solutely wrong and only their own experience NOT FACTS, enjoy.

Sai Yok is a big place which encompasses National Parks, reservoirs and dams as well as forests, mountains, animal sanctuaries, rivers and even a World War 2 death railway. You can choose to drive up in a personal car, as I did, about 3 hours from Bangkok but on a very scenic route, or you can take the train. Once there you can travel on the famed river Kwai if you want to and see all of the natural beauty and wildlife that abounds. I only went for 3 days this time but it is about my 12th visit as I live in Bangkok, and I always find that there is something different to do, just be aware of the rainy season which can curtail anyone's day.

I travelled to Sai Yok by car, so was able to explore the area easily. I didn't book any organised trips. Sai Yok National Park was worth the Foreigner price - the waterfalls were easily accessible, and if I was younger and fitter I would have been able to spend a long time wandering about. I refused to pay the foreigner price for Lawa Cave, as did the Western family with four children who arrived at the same time. I did not feel that the experience would be worth it, and for the family it would have been extremely expensive. Thin Lin Hot Springs, however, charges the same price for everyone. Affordable for Thai people and an absolute bargain for Westerners. The pools are tiled, so do not look natural, but it is very clean and a beautiful place. There is a roped off area in the nearby river, so it is possible to swim and paddle safely without fear of being swept away. The current is very strong. The area is very beautiful and quite unspoilt. I recommend it for those wanting a peaceful, back to nature type of holiday.
