- From US$288.70 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 864 reviewsWhat a piece of paradise on Koh Samui, we had a fantastic stay at this exceptional and tranquil resort. We stayed there a week with our 10 month old daughter, and couldn't have picked a better place. The location, the facilities, the pool, the breakfast, the beach - everything was great. We do also want to give a special mention to the incredibly friendly staff including Oom, Mam, James, An, Noom, Pang to just mention a few. They were extremely service minded and also took great care of our daughter. Would love to come back to Sala Samui, and this comes from a couple who never goes back to the same place twice!Guest review byChristianSweden
- From US$384.85 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 669 reviewsThe beautiful and idylllic location and the fantastic staff are the absolute highlights. The first two nights we had a second row bungalow. Fortunately we were able to upgrade to a beach front for the last two nights. For us that was a perfect ending to our holiday: the view is nothing short of amazing. Both days we had lunch on the deck of our bungalow. :) The two pools are also nice and the restaurant is big. And there is also a little bar with music and cocktails. All the staff members are really friendly and some even know your name. See you Soon! ;-)Guest review byRobinNetherlands
- From US$183.19 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,693 reviewsWe just loved everything about the hotel. The staff are friendly and very well trained. The rooms are modern and clean. The buffet breakfast is fresh and caters for every variety of breakfast type, from western to Asian. The kiddies pool was fun, and the larger pool was just so refreshing after a day of activities in the sun. Beautiful view from the rooftop pool. Its a well run hotel and we loved our stay. Thank you.Guest review bySteven Webster XVChina
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 489 reviewsThe location was perfect. A short walk from the beach and the view was superb. There were lots of restaurants and shops just behind the beach which served lovely food at reasonable prices. We were able to rent scooters from outside the property for 200 baht per day. There was a supermarket in the hotel which sold everything we might ever needGuest review byWilliamAustralia

There are lots of stalls for bargain hunters, heaps of food options and of course a variety of nightlife spots to keep you entertained. Choose your timing, if you want to avoid crowds then don't go in the evening. You can book all your tours at one of the many outlets. And you'll find the best exchange rates at the currency exchange booths. Be prepared for people to be constantly trying to get your attention for goods and services. I'd recommend doing at least one island tour, go to Old Phuket Town and treat the elephants to a delightful scrub.Guest review byLisaAustralia - 6.0

If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.Guest review byDennisAustralia - 10.0

I love it here . Has everything and anything. For me I like the beach , the restaurants, the markets and am happy to do that all day at one of the beach front bungalows. But there is plenty of night life if you want it . A lively place, lovely locals, easy to go other places on the island with taxis . The beach is beautiful. Warm water . Food and drinks along the beach .lots to see and do in the town. So many restaurants to choose from . Capybara cafe is so funny had a great time there . The night markets are greatGuest review bydeniseNew Zealand - 8.0

I am considering retirement in HY and this first stay was a real help to decide. I really like HY. There is so much I haven't seen on this trip but I will return in a couple of months. BOLT is a great way to get around, average journey price 55 baht (april 2025) BOLT drivers are amazing, you can have a car turn up in 2 minutes and be on your way. The selection of food in HY is off the scale. I have not met one person who was unkind or rude. I have had a couple of bad experiences in cafes with cold food or slow service but nothing to put me off returning to this city.Guest review bymikeUnited Kingdom - 8.0

A calm and quiet place that also has many places to walk. It is recommended to rent a car for a while because everything is relatively far from each other. Lots of good restaurants and also a really great market for shopping and food.Guest review byBarakIsrael - 10.0

Sun (the manager) and his amazing team treat you like family instantly and you honestly feel that the hotel is your Thai home. My family and I will never forget the wonderful facilities, food and warm feeling we received from everybody at the Pacific Club. My sons wanted me to mention Ron and Joso who made their stay by always stopping for a chat. I could not recommend to a family a better hotel in Phuket. Each evening you can ask reception to organise a tuk tuk to take you to Karon main strip for a couple of pound and on a Tuesday and Friday there is a fantastic night market at the temple. Well worth checking out. The best places to eat (apart from thd lovely menu at the hotel) are the tiny restaurants down the side streets. The ones with 2 or 3 tables and plastic chairs where you can see the chef. We ate some of the best food of our lives for unbelievable prices. Leaving a tip in these places goes a long way!Guest review byhazelUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Kata Beach was busy, especially at the southern end. We rented a scooter and visited Karon Beach and Hai Harn Beach. There are heaps of shopping, money exchanges and restaurant options in Kata Beach. We walked or used a scooter.Guest review byMelindaAustralia
