It was so impressive the moment you arrived at the lobby, where you can find a beautiful designed front desk, with a little coffee shop, souvenir corner and bookstore. Staff were all so efficient and nice, like all the Taiwanese, and their key card leather holder with a Tainan guide book may be one of the best ideas I have ever seen in a hostel/hotel. I stayed in the female dormitory for 1 night. The bathroom is clean and quipped with enough showers and amenities you need. The bed is comfy and the dormitory space is so spacious! My friend and I spent a lot of time having our late night snacks in the common area, which is also nicely designed and cozy to stay at. Their breakfast at the restaurant is also very good! P.S. I love their uniform so much! So special and trendy :)

Very friendly and supporting stuff. They gibe you a Feeling of living in a 5star hotel for rich people . The room accoustic was perfect, no noises , no people. The breakfast was one of the beste buffets I habe ever seen. I can recommend it to everyone in Tainan. And very very clean.

Very very spacious, great layout of the room, good location, restaurants on site were wonderful and great price, located right behind a shopping mall, lovely staff, baby cot was already laid out when we arrived, bath tub was wonderful. A face mask was provided on Day 1 which was such a lovely touch. We even booked and tried the 36 tea shot at the hotel's bar which was an amazing and unique experience. Would 100% come back to this hotel.

We were completely satisfied. The hotel is a 5 min walk away from the train station, which was perfect. The staff was very kind and helpful. We could store our luggage in a back room before check-in and after check-out. The room was big and comfortable with a window, tv and fridge. The bathroom was big and clean as well. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were very quiet. There were black-out curtains as well, which was a nice bonus.

The breakfast came as a buffet breakfast and offered a broad choice between western and asian cuisine. The room was very spacious. They offered a can and a machine for filtered water and ice cubes was available on the floor. A large desktop was available for working. One of the best hotels during my stays in Taiwan. Absolutely recommendable.

Really lovely hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern, the buffet breakfast and dinner are great and there's a laundry room that's free to use. It's also a few doors down from Michelin starred Zai Fa Hao dumpling place and close to loads of Tainan's historical sites. And it has Aircon that works and is quiet.

A vibrant city with a very youthful energy.

A vibrant city with a very youthful energy. We found Tainan to be full of rich cultural and historical opportunities and enjoyed visiting Anping, Tainan Fine Art Museum, the Literature Museum, Confucius Temple, and Chi Mei Museum. We also found the cafe and coffee culture in the city to be some of the best we’ve found in Taiwan so far. There also seemed to always be something happening in the streets! We visited over Thu-Sun and saw a variety of trinket markets, night markets, Retrocession Day celebrations and even a halloween market! As with the rest of the country, all of the people are so kind and the food is delicious! We also found public transport to be very easy to navigate in Tainan, as well as time efficient. We will definitely be back!

we did a great walking tour with Emily (of https://www.likeitformosa.com/ ) of the Old Anping area. She has a great knowledge of Tainan's history and culture. We also enjoyed the Tainan Art Museum (the newer Building 2) exhibitions of contemporary artists' work. There's an excellent restaurant on level 5. Walking the streets is a great way to discover the architectural variety of the city, from Japanese colonial era to contemporary landmarks to traditional temples. Recommended: www.ochatsuki.com.tw for the best tofu and soy drinks, soups, desserts!

The city is excellent and offers a great deal of places to visit, like Hayashi Store for some amazing souvenirs, Confucius Temple to appreciate the ancient learning and culture, a lot of Museums to showcase the art and history of the city, and the fantastic night markets for local cuisine of Tainan. You can access most of these places just with a single YouBike.
