Great city hotel - we have stayed at the Minsheng COZZI as well and think both are fantastic. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, water pressure is excellent. They provided a new baby cot and amenities and room was serviced and cleaned each day. Breakfast selection is great - different each day with plenty of options. The lounge on the 2nd floor was helpful as well as it is open all day. Lots of convenience stores nearby as well as a supermarket. Right next to the MRT and walking distance to the Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would happily stay again! Our room had a street view (which kept our toddler busy) with good soundproofing. Our friends stayed in an interior-facing room with no view - make sure you request a street view.

I have to start with an unfortunate event that turned out to be very fortunate for us: we stayed in this hotel at the time of the 7.4 earthquake in early April. The event itself was absolutely scary, but looking back we were very thankful to stay at this place instead of anywhere else. The building was all moving and shaking, but there was no damage at all thanks to the construction of the building. The staff was very nice and helpful at all times. The building is beautiful, including the interior and the room! We absolutely loved the white colours in the room. The room was spacious and equipped with everything, with a nice walk in closet, an office corner and a huge bathroom (we loved the Japanese style toilet :) ). The location is great, there are two shopping malls in a walking distance, with some nice restaurants.

Hotel is in great location, old and not clean. But i have to say staffs here are amazing. They are so nice and helpful, my car didn’t arrive when i need to go to the airport and my family has many people and luggages but staffs helped to arrange everything smoothly. The way they cared and helped us make me feel so much better and less stressful 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Highly recommend

The rooms were huge compared to other hotels we stayed in Asia. The interior was elegant and modern. It’s close to malls and MRT and train stations. It’s a bit further away from but centre but we even liked the hotel’s neighbourhood more than the city centre of Taipei.

Our Taiwan trip (Taipei and Taichung) was truly unforgettable. Taipei gave us the perfect mix of convenience and adventure — from the MRT that made every destination accessible, to the vibrant night markets, delicious street food, and friendly locals who were always willing to help. We enjoyed exploring iconic spots like Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and the beautiful streets of Ximending. Taichung, on the other hand, was refreshing and scenic. We loved the Rainbow Village, Houli Flower Farm, and the peaceful views at Gaomei Wetlands. The weather was great, the tours were organized, and every place felt safe and tourist-friendly. Our hotel stay in Taipei was comfortable — cozy and clean rooms with reliable amenities, friendly staff, and a location that made our trip stress-free. Overall, Taiwan is a destination we highly recommend. Clean, safe, convenient, and full of beautiful places and good food. Definitely a place we would love to visit again.

Taipei is a great city that has everything to offer: culture, history, great sights to visit, friendly people and not to forget the absolutely great cuisine. Getting around is a doddle with the efficient public transport system and you can easily find something to your taste to eat or drink at every 10 metres or so.

This is the 9th I go to Taiwan, especially Taipei. I really like Taiwan, such as fresh air, many famous parks, sidewalks for tourists, many public transportations such as MRT, TRA and buses, many Seven Eleven/ Family mart groceries, many night markets where tourists can enjoy local food, museums... For me, Taiwan is great.
