The resort is excellent with rooms maintained and staff really attentive. My car was stuck on approach road but staff was very helpful in getting it out.

Excellent value for money. Relaxed atmosphere for work and play, away from the bustle of the big city. Pristine beach, great pool, beautiful tropical garden and restaurant facilities were good value for money and tasty. Staff was phenomenal --- helpful, friendly and accomodating. Accomodation is individual ensuite guest houses which made for a private, relaxing stay. The only down side is the traffic around the port, so getting into Dar or to the airport requires extra time.

Perfectly wonderful designed and furnished round cottages. With its own small terrace including a hammock. You think the photos on the internet are too good to be true? In reality this gem looks even nicer. I only had one day in Dar es Salaam between flights. And, frankly, no desire for the city. But it was 24 wonderful and impressive hours that I will certainly not forget. The host Linda manages to give homeland.bro a unique heartbeat. I will come back. Absolutely, absolutely sure. For at least two weeks. Or may be for a longer period as digital nomad. THANK YOU LINDA! THANK YOU STAFF

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel, and it truly exceeded all expectations. Although it's just a short distance from the bustling city of Dar es Salaam, it felt like a peaceful oasis, offering a perfect escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. The staff were exceptional – incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Their warmth and hospitality truly stood out, and I felt like I was among friends throughout my stay.
The food was absolutely fantastic, with a breakfast spread that was not only delicious but also varied and fresh. Every meal was a treat, and I looked forward to every dining experience.

Had a great stay at the Joleen Safari Park Hotel. The Owner and staff are very professional and helpful in this new small hotel, which is well maintained and peaceful.There was always staff there 24 hours a day if you needed anything. I had some amazing local dishes for dinner but they would make what you like. The beaches are close by, beautiful, clean and empty , except for a for local fisherman. I had a few nice surf sessions and arranged though the hotel a cheap taxi and the driver was super nice and helpful who got me to all the best beaches. I stayed on for twice as long.
