I had a great stay at Zan Paradise Beach. The hospitality from the staff and the manager, Mr. Khaled, really stands out — friendly, helpful, and always available when needed. The view from the room is incredible, literally facing the open sea with nothing blocking the scenery. It’s the kind of view you wake up to and instantly feel relaxed. The hotel has three restaurants, and the food was genuinely good — fresh seafood, good seasoning, and generous portions. If you want a bit more activity or different vibes, Paje Beach is just an 8-minute tuk-tuk ride away, so the location gives you quiet beachfront peace without feeling isolated. Overall, a comfortable place with excellent staff and a beautiful view and a great value for money.

Amazing restaurant Staff: 100000/10 Having been to many hotels in different countries I can confidently say .. this feels like home, they feel like family and I felt like ROYALTY 👸 Attentive to you at all times, they are there before you ask, literally a thought away 💭 Always smiling and cheerful We stayed there for our honeymoon and my oh my were we pampered. We spent two weeks at TUI Blue Bahari, including Christmas and New Year and we highly recommend the resort. The service in all areas was great and all hotel personnel was customer oriented. The TUI app is useful and easy to use to reserve restaurants and activities. Speaking of activities, we were the only guests participating at the Swahili Language and Hotel Tour activities while the occupancy rate of the hotel was about 95%. I recommend getting involved while in Zanzibar. Locals appreciate so much the Swahili words/expressions learnt and discovering the hotel premises that are inaccessible to tourists and the management team was a pleasure. The administrative chief is very creative and resourceful, the laundry operation manager is very dedicated and organized and Chef Ali was great explaining us the processes and the reasons behind the very tasty and diverse food courses. I need to emphasize that the food was great every day and in all restaurants. We also liked the fact that there is no limitation to book a la carte restaurants. Chef Ali was so kind to offer some fruits and spices to takeaway. And last, I need to mention Hassan, the head of the restaurant team – he was there every day form the early morning hours until late at night, always watching every detail. We felt great at TUI and we would gladly chose it again: the rooms are clean and spacious, the beach and the views are spectacular, the personnel is great and makes you feel simply hakuna matata.

Me and my partner have been to many different hotels on Zanzibar - Baladin is on our top 3 list. Reasons are the excellent location at a beautiful beach, the really nice rooms which is very well kept, the amazing food from the kitchen and the really friendly and caring staff. We will very certainly return again. Other plus points: Not many Massai on the beach, which can be a real hassle in other areas. Other food options nearby in case you do want to change things up - although this is one of the best spots to eat at. Rooms are pretty big so can very comfortably host a couple with 2 kids or a group of friends. Other than that the place is perfect for romantic getaways. The whole operation runs very smoothly - might be due to the steady hand of the Swiss Manager and her partner - in anyways you can see things are taken care of.

The location is lovely set on the beach , plenty of sun beds beach bar looking into crystal blue waters The hotel was lovely and had lots to offer to get involved with hotel life out wanted to Themed night’s entertainment and nothing was to much trouble The staff were excellent and made our stay perfect There is an on site spa which I highly recommend Amina a trainee receptionist was there every morning with a huge big smile and a morning greeting thank you for everything you did for us you do a fantastic job 👏 Also a big thank you to Abas trod & beverage manager you looked after everyone so well thanks so much

We loved our stay at The Residence so much that we came back even though we'd paid at another place already! The villas are amazing and the location right on the beach can't be beat. The staff are welcoming, kind, and helpful. The food is delicious with a good mix of Zanzibari cuisine as well as Western for those who are less adventurous. The spa treatments are relaxing, well done, and good value. There are bikes at the villas to get around, but it's very walkable. I'd recommend walking as you get a better chance to see wildlife (we saw dik diks, an elephant shrew, a bush baby, and, of course, monkeys).

Tulia was an absolute beauty- luxurious. The staff service was top, the details on the building, the place is soo serene. I can’t praise it enough… it was calming. Michaelle treats you like you are her only guest- with much care and attention. They do fine dining so there is two options to pick on for main course each day- which might be limiting for some. It was not the case for us. We loved Tulia and hope to be back again next time in Zanzibar!

Zuri is Majestic! The location is the best. The smiles on the hard working staff is what impressed me most! I am fond of flora I Could identify many unique trees and spices! They even have senna leaves😂!! The manager came to greet our family and we expressed her our high appreciation!! Ps they have oatmeal for breakfast which I really liked!! Very worthy hotel!!

Lovely smallish boutique hotel on the beach. We had an ocean view room with amazing views. There were always sunbeds available. Pool was nice. Restaurants served good food. Breakfast was really nice with both buffet and a la carte with several great options to order.
