This place is truly a hidden gem! I stayed 3 days 2 nights, wish I can stay longer. What makes this place so special are the staff. From the manager (pick up me at the town and send to the resort by boat), the boatman, local guide, chef, helper and all in the resort. This resort strategic location is perfect who love quiteness and really into the nature. Trust me once you are here you dont feel like to leave. The location is simply gorgeous if you are looking for relaxation. Far from any hustle and bustle on an island in the lake. Rarely do you hear anything other than the natural ambient sounds and automatically relax. The apartments are functional and nicely furnished. Electricity is available between 6 and 10 pm or on request. The water in the shower is nice and warm and the pressure is strong. The food in the restaurant is excellent, the selection large and reasonably priced. The included breakfast consisted of a hot drink, fruit juice, eggs, toast and honey with a choice of different preparations/juices. There was also a rich extended optional breakfast menu. The staff is very friendly and genuinely caring. We felt really comfortable and taken care of. We would really like to spend some more time there again.

Everything, from the moment I booked on booking com, the owner kept in touch and suggested how to reach, even though I came late. He talked to the Bodaboda guy to get me to his apartment. He changed the room with a bigger one without extra money! He is warm and willing to help you. Good value for money. I will definitely be back!

One of the most beautiful place in Uganda! The room was clean a the view from terrace is amazing. Wycliffe can arrange transport from the city or some activities. The food is also very good and all staff are very nice. Highly recommend place to visit, offering peaceful retreat.

I wish everybody could spend some nights here! Amazing private hut to stay in with wonderful view. Delicious food at the restaurant, very kind staff. Nice water to swim in. We took a dip multiple times per day!
