We really love this hotel for our family vacation. Our unit had everything that we needed. The kitchen was perfect to cook meals . Including a dishwasher!!!. We enjoyed our ocean view balcony. All the facilities were great , pools, lazy river, water slide and hottub. The beach was great too. Easy access to the beach, especially . Music all the time in the pool area , live music and live entertainment was a hit. We love the piano show, mini golf , the DJ and the steel band performer. Perfect place for a family vacation.

Marc, the manager, is just the best host ever, you can’t get any better than that. Even though I was only there for a night, just a regular visitor who booked the cheapest room with views to the city, he showed me the penthouse with ocean view and out of his own will, he offered me a free upgrade to the ocean side. Great location in a not too busy spot of the beach, pool and hot tub are nice. It’s better to skip breakfast, it’s just prepacked stuff and coffee but that’s what you get on a budget.

Daytona is an interesting place.

Daytona is an interesting place. There's plenty to do, and sometimes you just have to search things out to find what you like. Two of our favorite restaurants are Caribbean Jack's and Bonefish Grill. There are other great restaurants, too. The beach at low tide is the best!

Ormond Beach is lovely.

Ormond Beach is lovely. My stay at the Driftwood Hotel not so lovely. #1 the pool was under construction so NO SWIMMING.(It would have been nice to know this b4 I booked my reservation.) Grounds at Hotel were unsightly, dirty. Nightly rates were way too much $$$ for the old and dated condition of this "resort.".

The beach near our condo was wonderful for walking and just looking at the waves. We did not have a bad meal in our tour of seafood restaurants. The National Seashore near New Smyrna Beach was a pleasant afternoon of looking at undeveloped Florida. The city has a surprisingly good museum that sponsors walking tours snd such that explore the town's unexpected abd interesting history.

This area, by I-95 seems to be fairly new in development.

This area, by I-95 seems to be fairly new in development. Most businesses are new built. There were lots of restaurant choices as well. Location is only 10 minutes south of Daytona International Speedway drive. 20-25 minutes to the beaches, 30-35 minutes to either DeLeon Springs or New Smyrna Beach.

It was a nice area. Clean, had some good restaurants. Nice beach 🏖️ area. The condo we stayed at was in a great location. We drove down to the light house & did some sightseeing, and hit a couple of shops and had lunch on the water.

Ormond beach is a very nice City and the beach here is pretty. I do like the hotel alone the beach which give you the opportunity to have an oceanfront room to look out at the ocean in the day time and listen to it at night.

Beaches are great. Lots of nice restaurants. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was always a great experience. Shopping is covered whatever you may be looking for. Roads are laid out for convenience. Just a great place to be. A hell of a lot cheaper than most beach towns.

Customer service poor had to look outside for someone to help with problem.( on a smoke break) BED BUGS. hotel didn’t offer any help didn’t seem to surprised when notified about the BED BUGS. Left hotel. I never slept in bed but I got BED BUG BITES from the chair at the desk. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS. unable to find another hotel at 1:00 am. Had to sleep in car at rest area before cruising next day. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO A LAQUNITA

Our family has come for Spring Break from MI for many years.

Our family has come for Spring Break from MI for many years. We love renting bikes and riding on the beach. We have been to the speedway museum and enjoyed it. There are a lot of small restaurants and bars in the area. Crabby Joe's on the pier is a cool spot with great seafood. We also enjoy going to McElroy park and play bocce or basketball. We have hiked in a few of the parks nearby as well. Family friendly area!
