This was a great stay on our way to Death Valley! The place was easy to find, and it was a large cabin with all you could need and more - comfortable furniture, drinking water, board games, a huge piano and a great view of the dark night sky. There were even some snacks and emergency food rations in the cupboards. Our hostess was very friendly and communication was very easy and quick. We could have definitely stayed here for longer!

Was super simple to get in, host sent really helpful pics explaining it. Cabin was perfect for relaxing for the night and it was packed full of utensils and anything else you'd need if you want to cook yourself. The bed is super comfy.

The room was really spacious. We had 3 very comfortable queen-size beds. It was really nice to sleep in a room where the windows could be opened so we could enjoy the fresh evening air. It was in May, the nights were cool. We really enjoyed standing in front of our room and petting to donkeys that came to visit! Great internet connection (important for teenagers!). This hotel was actually my kid's favorite (big beds, cute donkeys, fast internet). We slept really well there.

The place was clean, recently renovated, and the staff was very helpful. There are many restaurants right outside the door. The hair dryer in our room wasn’t working, but after notifying the reception, we went out to explore and returned to find a new one waiting for us. There's an amazing BBQ restaurant right across from the motel where we had the best brisket—don’t miss it if you stay there!

There were some incredible views at some of the main locations. Unfortunately, there was flash flooding the day before we arrived and many of the roads were closed, with the exception of the main roads. If you hike one day in the park is not enough. I will return and spend 2 days, although I don't hike much.

I like being able to tune into the NHL playoff game between the Oilers and Golden Knights at the local bar. That was a big game and that meant a lot to me. I also enjoyed eating pizza during the game.

Pahrump is a bit of a drive from Las Vegas but it is worth the drive if you want to leave the glitz behind. We were in the area for the Ron Fellows Driving School but we did try to explore the area while we were there. One big negative for us was that only 1 casino offers table games and those are limited.

My son and I were doing a driving tour through the western states when we stopped here. This was one of our favorite places. We had stayed at some pretty upscale places, but having previously frequently traveled, camping our way across the country. I think that this was one of our top stops!

The town itself is nothing special, but if you don't want to stay in the park this is the closest town. There are several other larger towns within reasonable driving distance if you want more restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The main reason to be here is to visit Death Valley National Park -- which is beyond amazing. El Valle Mexican restaurant (which is really in Amargosa Valley, NV) is really good.

Unique place - it includes 'Badwater Basin' - about 30 mins' drive from the Inn at Death Valley. Badwater Basin is the lowest point in the whole of North America and is 85 metres BELOW sea level. A massive salt flat stretching as far as the eye can see and very, very hot in July. Death Valley area also includes Zabriskie Point overlooking the Bad Lands of the desert. We came upon it by chance on the way to the Inn (10-15 mins up the road) and stopped off to walk the short 'stroll' in the afternoon heat to the viewpoint. Very well worth the effort!

Don't miss this place. If you like an unique view into the history of the wild, wild west surrounded by mining, processing, and ghost towns, in one of the most extreme environments on the planet, this is it!

We were looking for a one night stay and had never visited Pahrump before. We had all of our meals at a Denny's not far from our motel and the food was good and the staff were very pleasant. Gas prices were much better than Northern Nevada.

There is not much if anything here but that is what you come here for. It's an old motel, with an amazing story, that could use a bit of TLC but the rooms are clean, the air conditioning works, and the water was hot in the shower. A great place to stay and show the photos to your friends.
