The location of our rental property was centrally located ( 20-30 min drive)to all of the theme parks. While we only visited the Universal parks, Disney is just around the corner from the property. There are many food venues near the rental, as well as numerous Pubix and Walmarts to pick up any necessities. The kitchen has everything needed for a quick meal at home, if you so desire. Orlando has 24/7 entertainment, dining and shopping. It's like Vegas, but for families:-) Love coming here, hate driving here. Traffic is combination of frustrated locals and millions of tourists with varying driving habits. Our country isn't known for good public transportation and Orlando is a shiny example of this. Personally, I am very easy to please, and Kissimmee was exactly what my family needed. The attractions are conveniently located. Aquatica water park was only a 20-minute drive, and SeaWorld was just in between. The Old Town House is adorable and caters to all types of people. Love Orlando. One thing I love most about Orlando is the quality of the hotels and the motels. Even budget hotels has a lot of amenities. You can find a great place to stay based on your budget. It's close to Disney, there are plenty of places to eat, you have Old Town amusement park, there are highways that take you straight to Universal Studios and Sea World, hundreds of hotels to choose from, shops, flea markets....
