We visited the Botanical gardens for their Garden Glow event! Beautiful lights, delicious hot chocolate in restaurant and the weather was perfect!!! We ate at Zia's on the Hill- excellent Italian food- also shopped at the local Italian bakeries for Christmas cookies. OH-OH-OH!

Gets you out of St.

Gets you out of St. Louis, near interstate though easy to get most places in area pretty quick, but that cones with some traffic noise. Breakfast was very good, didn't try pool, laundry, or fitness room.

Nice area and friendly people at our hotel and where we ate. Will visit again. There was no room at our regular hotel so we checked out Larkspur and it was nice so now we have 2 places to use in the future.

We stayed here to visit family.

We stayed here to visit family. So didn’t see much of the area besides the aquarium in downtown St. Louis which was awesome. We ate at the restaurant right next door which was a BBQ place. Very good food.

I like that the Denny’s is right in the same parking lot within walking distance, location looks remodeled inside rooms and hall ways, location has an ice machine, location is near the freeway, location had friendly staff

Desk employees very friendly and eager to make your stay there pleasant. Housekeeping definitely lacking! The day of arrival, I pulled back comforter and noticed hair and what looked like Chocolate smeared on the sheet.it definitely had not been changed from previous tenant. 2nd day the shower drained stopped up, 3rd day tried to wash clothes in the tenant washing machine, only to find the washer was not working. I understand things happen but this was ridiculous!!

The mattress was hard and there was no elevator you had to...

The mattress was hard and there was no elevator you had to take the stairs no breakfast you could tell it needed updating and the shuttle stops at 11 pm at night that's when our plane got back into St Louis airport so we had to find another way back thank God for the taxi service they were very nice to help

I didn't stay long enough to get to know Clayton.

I didn't stay long enough to get to know Clayton. Before I arrived there, I was ill at ease about potential crime. I circled an area with beautiful homes as my cellphone was trying to get me to the Clayton Plaza Hotel, and I learned that the nearby area had some nice restaurants, but after staying the night, I left early the following morning for my trip to Louisville.

My hotel stay was relaxing and comfortable. The suite was very clean including the bathroom. The staff was very polite, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. The breakfast and happy hour are amazing!

My toilet was not working.

My toilet was not working. It was only one way in so it was crowded. You have to pay for parking and the elevators don’t lead to rooms you have to walk to entrance. They should use valet instead of having us pay for parking.
