All the staff was really helpful and professional. The location is great if visiting Vassar university. Rooms are big and very comfortable. Amenities are of good quality. The restaurant is also very good though there is not lot of choices in the menu but it is correct. Complementary breakfast is also very nice. Good quality of fruit and pastries.

I slept in the Overlook Lodge. The room was clean and the view on the lake was amazing. Even if outside was pretty cold, the room was warm and very clean. I had no problem parking neither at the Inn and at the Lodge. Even with the snow and the ice, with the car was easy to reach both location. Other than the room, I tired the services of both the Hikers' Cafe and the second floor bar. They were both very good in terms of price-quality ratio, with plenty of possible choices. The location, generally speaking, is amazing. The staff was helpful and easy going.

The best location for Legoland New York!!! The Woobury premium outlets are just 3 minutes away. Lots of store KHole's, target, walmart. The room was very clean it is just like the pictures. The mattress where so so good. This hotel is no frill but so comfy and didn't ear a sound for 2 nights. you are 55 minutes from the Turtle back zoo so beautiful and 1hrs from the new American Dream mall that is incredible.

It wasn’t a hotel that made my state not good it was the booking.com. Overall the hotel the management and everybody else in it was great I had to book my room because booking.com book my room, but couldn’t get to my room. so I really rate booking.com. Poor sad

I liked all the amenities offered by this hotel.

I liked all the amenities offered by this hotel. Went to the Rock the Block event in downtown White Plains which was awesome Pizza Cucina on W.Post Road has an incredible spinach and cheese ravioli. Not a fancy restaurant with incredibly good Italian food. The variety of pizzas just amazing!!

The area had changed a lot since my wife was up there in the late 80s for school at the CIA. The town has gotten seedier and we were warned by several wait staff at various restaurants to be careful where you wandered at night. Rhinebeck would have been a better option for what we needed.

The hotel wasn’t what I expected and the area not as “ Townsend” as we would have liked. We ended up finding a decent restaurant, but Not very many other 5 star options. No reason to return to this area .

Orangeburg has some great places to check out!

Orangeburg has some great places to check out! Restaurants worth going to are Gino's Bagel, Nonna's Pizza, Fiesta Mexico, and Thai Garden. Head down 340 to Tallman Mountain State Park for some nice trails and scenic views of the Hudson River. Most places are walking distance, while there are some sidewalks a lot of people get around by car here.

The Mall was fabulous , large choice of restaurants with great places to eat . The convenience of shopping choices and food , so many different stores to shop at. Very easy to get around Middletown. Movie theater for children and adults to watch new releases at. Play centers for children in the mall. Very delightful town.

We loved the look of the town, hoping to come back and see more. Parking in most areas was hard to find and it’s all pay to park. We found a great coffee shop called coffee labs and the bagel emporium was delicious as well. We found some of the restaurants didn’t seem family friendly and were rather pricey. Some things we wanted to see were hard to find and stuff seemed to close early.

Stayed for overnight location along driving route. Not a pleasant area. Driving access awkward-ramps poorly-marked, U-turns to do everything. Lots of aggressive, horn-blowing drivers. But much of the NYC area is this way. Avoid staying in Nanuet if possible.

I love this little town.

I love this little town. I come here basically every year for my birthday to relax, clear out my head and be quiet. And to go away from NYC for a while Sweet little town with nice, relaxed and friendly people.

Newburgh seems to be a struggling city.

Newburgh seems to be a struggling city. Some parts were nice and others definitely did not seem safe. We split our time between Newburgh and Beacon. In Newburgh, we visited the George Washington Headquarters historic site (very cool) and the Motorcyclepedia Museum (also very cool). There are plenty of options for dining. Getting around was easy enough (except the Washington Heights area).
