We liked everything about The Metric. The place is immaculate, minimalist chic, and has super comfy mattress/pillows. The owners really look after the property and make sure everything is perfect. We were here last year, too, and we can't think of staying anywhere else when we return again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alpine Inn. From arrival to departure, we only encountered amazingly friendly staff that always had an open ear for each and any question and was helpful throughout our multi-day stay. Great team you got there, guys.  While the hotel has a fun theming when you see it from the street, it may look like your standard motel from the courtyard - but the rooms are way better than standard motel rooms. We have rarely, if ever, experienced rooms that were so spotless clean. And I really mean spotless, from door to bathroom joints. We have stayed about 3 1/2 months in hotels, motels & vacation rentals in the last 12 months, from Deluxe hotels and Disney Deluxe resorts to moderate hotels to motels and Alpine Inn's rooms were hands down the cleanest rooms we have been staying at for a very long time.  And don't forget the mattresses: very comfy and on par with the very "famous" "Disney Vacation Club mattresses" everyone who has ever slept on raves about.  Housekeeping during our stay was also perfect. Even when we left the room late on some days (we are lazy 😂) housekeeping still did what was scheduled for the day (really wouldn't have expected this).  Overall Alpine Inn offers a great value for the money, especially considering how close it is to a popular tourist destination like Disneyland (10 minutes walk) and the Anaheim Convention Center (just on the opposite side of the street) and we can highly recommend staying there and will also stay there again ourselves, next time we visit Disneyland. It is close to the Santa Monica Pier and the room we stayed in was on the second floor but had a small view of the beach. If you stay on a higher floor, you will have an even better view. The rooms have wood floors and are always clean. The amenities are very good, including a variety of toothbrushes and body washes. I originally tried to use the cheap public parking nearby but it was very crowded and the parking was too small, so I used the hotel valet parking and was very pleased with the service.

I thought the price to DisneyLand was extremely excessive, $40 for parking and $224/ person to only get access to half of the park for one afternoon Then I feel DisneyLand isn't about happiness or fun for the kids, it's about the money. After paying this excessive price, they offer a higher price ticket for wealthy people to for a VIP ticket... they get to cut in front of everyone else, which means our money isn't good enough . And then I asked for help from 5-6 employees on the street with brochures and they were rude and all but one were unhelpful.

Inglewood is a multifaceted community.

Inglewood is a multifaceted community. Staying near the airport (LAX) represents the corporate/business and touristy side of Inglewood. However, travelling down La Brea or Florence Avenues puts one face-to-face with downtown and even well-kept historic parts of the community. It's actually a beautiful place. There are businesses there that one should patronize, not only because they are long-standing establishments, but because they still--after generations--offer quality service and products.

We love staying at this location, because it is close by...

We love staying at this location, because it is close by other restaurants and markets that you can walk. This location is excellent for not having to get up so early for an early flight at LAX. The shuttle service is a huge plus for us as well. It’s nice to have a little breakfast before we have to leave. This is our go to lodging when we fly out of LAX.

Santa Ana is my hometown, although I live elsewhere now. Santa Ana has many sights to see. It is also within a moderate driving distance to beaches, amusement parks, and other entertainment venues. Santa Ana and Orange County are nice places to visit and explore.

I lived in Burbank for 50 years, went to High School there, only recently moved to my ranch in the next city over, it's a better place to live but why would anyone want to visit there? There's NO vegan restaurants (okay Veggie Grill is a GREAT vegan restaurant located right on the edge of Burbank but prefers to call itself "Toluca Lake". One of the most exciting things about sleepy, senior Burbank is that they have a Trader Joe's and THREE AMC movie theaters and a Walmart (and the City Council tried to keep Walmart out for years)

I've stayed in many hotels and the staff here was one of the best! the location is convenient for traveling to neighboring cities/towns/beaches. There are shops/restaurants within walking distance as well which was a nice added bonus.

I grew up in Pasadena in the mid-1950s. I frequently return as my oldest daughter lives in Pasadena. Pasadena is home still, even though I spend most of my time in SLC or other parts of the US working.
