The unit was clean & spacious. The hosts were exceptional in making us feel comfortable. We had a balcony which looked out over the park & the marina. The location was right in the center of everything, including restaurants. They rent golf carts too & guests get a discount. We got the impression that it is under new management. When I called with questions or went to the desk, staff were always pleasant & helpful. The hotel is located next to a restaurant/bar but there are quiet hours. The rooms are private entrance & the upper floor requires a key card. Despite just opening for the season, our room was ready. -We actually forgot check-in time but our room happened to be ready early.

We love everything about Castaway! We go a couple times a year now. All the staff are great! There are so many activities for the kids to do all throughout the hotel. The waterpark is very clean, super kid friendly, and very on top of safety! The lifeguards are beyond great! They are always on the lookout watching every single kid that enters the waterpark. Our favorite destination as a family.

The General Manager was exceptional. Our check in time was 4pm and they locked our belongings up so we could explore the island on the golf cart.
