This is a beautiful oasis to enjoy as a base for Ninh Binh exploration. The villa opened 6 months ago, and you can see the attention to detail in design and helpfulness. Our room had a gorgeous view of rice paddies. We rented motorbikes and after a short lesson, we felt comfortable to explore our favorite sites like the Trang An River and Hang Mua Caves. On our motorbikes, it was a short ten minute ride into the heart of Tam Coc, which honestly felt like a reprieve not stay in the throngs of tourists.

All attractions are close by that can be reached by bike. The hotel permitted us early check in and even allowed us to use the room after check out to freshen up. I would recommend to book the bungalow as it has much space. Rooms are equipped with basic necessities and a smart tv too. Great breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay here! The hosts were so sweet and went out of their way to make sure we had great time. Despite arriving early, they were incredibly accommodating, even finding us a bed in their home to rest until our room was ready. The place is beautiful and breakfast was delicious and had vegetarian options. We were also able to rent bikes from them to explore the area, and they kindly drove us where we needed. We would love to stay here again!

Staff was very nice ale helpful. Place is amazing, with access to the swimming pool, waterfall, restaurant, it js good place to relax and chill close to the nature, at the same time close to the city centre. You can use the bicycles for free :) and rent a bike. New equipment and clean.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and we absolutely loved the view from our room. Breakfast was delicious, and we especially appreciated that the hotel provided free bicycles, which allowed us to explore the city as much as we wanted. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location is just stunning, including the surrounding area. If you stay here you could just as well skip tam coc, as it is equally beautiful, but without the crowds. The rooms are basic, but clean. You get an AC and a mosquito net. The hotel itself is not the most comfortable overall, but if you are only here for a few nights it is worth it. The kitchen only serves Vietnamese food. The food itself is decent, and we enjoyed our meals there. If you prefer Western food or breakfast, you might want to look elsewhere. The coffee was actually better then we got in some high end place. The pool is lovely, but could do with a bit more shade for a dive after lunch. It is a homestay run by a Vietnamese Family. They have 2 small kids, so the location is very kid's friendly. Overall this place is a great value for money, especially because you can enjoy the Ninh Binh's scenery until the sun goes down.

Lovely resort pity we only stayed 1 night here. I would recommend at least 2 nights in this beautiful place. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, extremely quite and private. Breakfast was extremely impressive. The resort amenities included also decent sized gym, a spa, and outdoor swimming pools. The service was friendly and lovely really trying to make us comfortable.

Very nice resort in the middle of tam coc nature. The restaurant is excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is very helpful and speaks good English and it is easy to reach all the nice spots around Tam Coc by bike / from the hotel. Would really recommend to sleep here if you want to explore the Nin Binh area.

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real...

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real attraction is Trang An. Get there early - 6:50am, choose Route 1, and prepare to be transported into another world. Pictures do not capture the other worldly atmosphere of the place - it really is something special.

As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.

We stayed in Tam Coc which is the centre of all of the activity. Touristy, but worth it, beautiful place, lots to see and do. Don't miss the Tam Coc boat tour but leave first thing in the morning to be on the river by yourself and to watch the Lotus flower open. Stunning boat trip. The viewpoint is great but avoid going up to the dragon as it can be dangerous near the top. A must see is the gardens - take the time to go out and walk around, absolutely stunning. Really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone. The scenery is just spectacular.

I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh Binh. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near markets and attractions, making transportation easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities. In particular, the receptionist is very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to assist customers. The hotel also provides a private cooking area and dining table for guests, creating a feeling of home. The yard is spacious and airy, providing a relaxing space after days of exploration. I will definitely return to Lighthouse Hotel on my next trips to Ninh Binh.

Beautiful Tranquil place in the middle of scenic hills...

Beautiful Tranquil place in the middle of scenic hills forests and rivers. The Trang An river complex is a must see and Id recommend it over the Tam Coc anyday. The Trang An boat ride is approx 2.5 to 3 hrs and takes you through at least three water caves one of which is about 2omin long..its a once in a lifetime wondrous experience. Dont miss the Thung Nam bird park ..another beautiful hushded boat ride. Thoroughly enjoyable and Beautiful visit..not to be missed.
