Absolutely amazing hotel with top notch staff. The hotel is beautiful, with a view of the city. The staff took care of us upon arrival, welcomed us with a welcome drink, took our suitcases to our room. The room was clean and well equipped with a beautiful design. Nothing to complain about. The hotel pool is a very pleasant place to relax. You don't have to take towels from your room, the staff has already prepared them by the pool. The staff was really helpful. It was the best accommodation experience in Vietnam so far.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially the reception staff and Phuong who helped us with our suitcases and greeted is with a fabulous smile every time we passed through the lobby. Breakfast was really good. We both had a massage and used the pool and steam room. It was a great place to stay.

This is a family-run hotel and Laura and Michael and their family are excellent - helpful and sincere. The children are lovely too when they are around (they are at school most of the time). They put us on a high floor for the views, and there's a lift so going up and down wasn't a problem. Location is excellent - lots of great food options around - just Google. We stayed two nights here and would have stayed more if we had had the time.

Great location, 15 min walk along the Perfume River to the City Center (pedestrian area for tourists, souvenir shops). Also the nisght market is in front of the hotel, during weekend nights. Wow! This is an AMAZING hotel. Since the moment you check in everything is smooth and enjoyable. The staff is very warming and welcoming. The hotel itself is built in a way you feel you have the jungle to yourself. The rooms are amazing, spacious and with all amenities presented in a very delicate way. The bed was huge and so so comfortable. There’s no words to describe how good the breakfast buffet is, so many options of Vietnamese ( and other types too) of food, exquisitely presented and so good. We also loved how helpful they were with us to take us to the main atractions of Hue but also helpful us to get to our next destination. I can’t recommend this enough, it’s definitely a place to stay for days if you can.

It’s such a beautiful and tranquil place - real paradise! The area is huge, very peaceful and quiet! Everything is well-organized- if one doesn’t want to walk, it’s possible to take a bike or call a shuttle to pick you up. Umbrellas are available at any facilities. The cleaning staff comes twice a day. They even provide a fairy tale in the evening for a better sleep 😂so nice of them. Although it’s far away from the city - the transportation is well-organized and for free. Very convenient! The breakfast is amazing - plenty of options and freshly cooked food ( not always the case in Asia). The staff is very helpful and fixes all the issues instantly.

We had a one bedroom suite with private pool and Seaview. Fantastic value. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff made it extra special for us. Staff was exceptional. The restaurants were good but we would recommend going into Lang Co for an authentic Vietnamese meal on the beach at least once. The fossball, table tennis and pool table were fun ways to kill time. The beach and pools were stunning. 100% recommend this resort. Splurge, treat yourself to a romantic get away.

A pleasant stay in the tourist city center of Hué. Although the neighborhood is noisy, full of bars and restaurants, the hotel is pleasant and calm. Large and comfortable rooms and really friendly and kind staff at the reception desk, who helped us arrange our transfers and bookings for restaurants and activities. Good breakfast, combining Vietnamese and Western specialities. Very recommendable.

Had the most amazing stay at Alba. Staff were exceptional and always happy to assist with booking our spa treatments and dinner etc. The resort was very empty when we went which probably helped with this. Yoga class was awesome and food was reasonably priced so wasn’t a problems either eating at the resort. Finished our stay and felt very relaxed

I am interested in history and the story of the Imperial Palace and the Nguyễn dynasty fascinates me. I could spend the whole day doing research there! Who would have thought that Emperor Minh Mang’s kindness towards female specie would eclipse all kings and emperors in human history!

Secluded and peaceful beach location, with well-groomed surroundings and a comfortable hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff was great! I had dinner at the Rice Bowl a few times, and the Japanese food and service were excellent! However, compared to similar restaurants in Hanoi, it was a bit pricy. The beach was excellent, clean and quiet. The proximity to the golf course was fantastic too, although I did not play, as I was there to watch a tournament. Great place for some R&R with family!

Lien was absolutely lovely and her homestay was amazing, cannot recommended enough. She made us feel very at home and welcomed us with fruit, tea and soup. Lien is very knowledgeable about the area and what our options to see any of the sights would be individually or as a package. She was also kind enough to book the bus for us and take us to the bus stop in the morning. If you’re in Hue this is the place to stay; good location, very clean and tidy, comfortable beds, great host and great facilities.

I stayed only one day and it was raining the whole day so my experience of Hue is biaised. But for any people interested in history visiting the imperial city is quite impressive and the tombs of Emperors are definitely a must see

Hue is a fantastic place to visit for a few days.

Hue is a fantastic place to visit for a few days. Restaurants and spas here are cheaper than HoChi Minh and Hoi An. The Imperial city and tombs are lovely. You can organise day trips to further afield. The Hai Van Pass between Hue and HoiAn s a must do, with scenic detours on the way.

Nice beaches and lagoons, especially Lap An Lagoon. You can go for a boat ride around the lagoon, visit oyster farms and Lang Co fishing village. Or take a mototaxi to nearby Lang Co beach, village market and to the Hai Van Pass. Stopover at Ga Lang Co , the little train station, and wait for the train to arrive. From there you can also have a nice view of the fishing village and Lang Co Bay. Enjoy the seafood at the seafood restaurants, eg. An Lagoon where you can dine by the lagoon and watch the sunset. Some homestay like BH Villa offers assistance in booking mototaxi, boat rides and taxi.
