IrelandSpent a week at the Alpine Inn. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff, lovely setting, clean, secure and well run. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with everything we needed. Even enjoyed a swim in the pool despite the chilly early spring weather. Would recommend to everyone.

The beautiful house and it's lovely colorful interior, the stunning view over the beach from our room, the great garden and it's direct location at the beach! What a wonderful house this is!
Some further information about the b&b: rooms are big, beds are comfortable, breakfast had everything you need to start into the day, staff was also very friendly. We did a very long walk on the beach and will never forget this perfect stay!

We had been there for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly the awesome breakfast. Overall, it was a good experience, but one drawback is its distance from the centre, requiring us to travel a considerable distance to purchase necessities.

We enjoyed our stay, its a pity we only stayed for just a few nights, wished we stayed the whole festive. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Our daughter enjoyed the trampoline and loved picking up flowers and roses.

We enjoyed the scenery and quietness around the Wilderness Lake View. We were also thankful for Spar being close by to get cold drinks during a hot and sunny day with a scorching sun burning on our skin adding vitamin D and a tan to keep the holiday spirit alive!

George appeared to be a nice small town.
George appeared to be a nice small town. While entering through the highway, there are a few patches that appear kind of unsafe and disappointing, but most part of the town is good. The nearby places like Victoria Bay and Mossel Bay (didn’t visit) are good.

place was stunning, however when i booked was noted we had to vacate the place between 8-12am, we had cleaning staff demanding we leave
at 9.30 so they can clean as new tenants arrive at 2.. we were intending to leave at 10, they could not wait and insisted to invade our space. very unnecessary as the cabin was kept as we found it. i think the maids must
understand we are the paying customer not them. bit of a spoiler.
the host michelle was very attentive and gracious. thank you michelle
for the response on the call out too😉 to brian and verner can see you
have a close family and have had wonderful times have memories... luv that.

Hoekwil is beautiful with lots to see - there is a big tree nearby which you can visit (make sure to wear comfortable shoes). There are also a few nice places to eat, drink coffee and enjoy the quiet surrounds. The accommodation in the area is also very nice and neat.

I visited Wilderness not as a tourist or holidayer but to visit cherished friends who live on Lake Road. That said, I found Wilderness very appealing with lots of things to do for those who are so inclined; a number of very good restaurants certainly appealed to me. Naturally for me, I find the bustle of holiday season a little wearing but acknowledge that is a must for local merchants.

I liked that it’s not very busy. The transport network looked great. Didn’t see taxis creating havoc on the roads.
I didn’t like the fact that driving from Knysna to airport I couldn’t find a petrol station to fill up the car

The accommodation was awesome, the reception super friendly and informative. The view was unequaled. It was a most memorable stay. The meals at Dutton's Cove were amazing. So glad that we chose Herold's Bay as a destination and Ozone Apartments as our host. The hike to the cross and the view from there was breathtaking. We were even blessed to see well over 300 dolphins in 2 consecutive days and 2 whales. Will definitely re-visit.
