Beautiful rooms - the large wrap around glass doors let nature in. Lying in bed and seeing a bush baby catch insects - just wow!
The staff are wonderfull - helpful friendly and doing their utmost to make your stay memorable
The food is delicious- cooked to perfection and served with a smile
The bushwalking with Mlu. His enthusiasm shows and tracking the leopard ( which we did not see) was a highlight. His love and knowledge of his culture and the bush is infectious

We did not eat there we booked at the self-catering chalets.
We would have loved to have breakfast but find R185 pp is a bit expensive.
We did have a drink at the bar witch we loved as the bar lady was on the ball and so help full and friendly and to top it off, she brought us a bowl of popcorn, what a nice gesture.
The property is like a little place in heaven rest for the soul. Will definitely be back, and the birding is fantastic.

thank you to our host for accommodating us in a different room due to the aircon not working. Much appreciated. Thank you for the friendly advice for our day at the Hluhluwe Game Park. Was glad that the accommodation was close to the park so we did not have to travel far to enter. Enjoyed our stay and will be back to stay on our next visit to the park.

The location on the side of the lake was special.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was my partners 60th bday and they arranged a nice celebration to make it!

All was good. Quiet location out of town a short ways, so a car is helpful. Well stocked kitchen satellite TV, large clean cottage and a good restaurant, brewery, and Craft shop on site. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was great.
Breakfast was great. The favorite place that we visited was St Lucia beach. On our way back to the hotel we made a stop over at Sihle's Shisanyama where we had our supper. The place is great.
It is easy to get around Hluhluwe hotel.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful hospitality I received during my stay this past weekend. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed.
The food was exceptional and truly exceeded the value of what we paid — generous portions, great taste, and beautifully presented. Gogo’s warm and caring hospitality made the experience even more special; it is clear that she loves people and takes pride in making guests feel at home.
The pool experience was also fantastic — clean, refreshing, and perfectly positioned for relaxation.
I was equally impressed by the quality of the furniture and the attention to detail in the décor — everything is top-class and thoughtfully put together, creating a comfortable and elegant environment.

Central to a number of tourist attractions, i.e. Umfolozi National Park, St Lucia part of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
The town is a typical bustling, vibrant rural town, traffic a bit chaotic.
I was staying for business purposes, If on vacation I would have probably stayed closer to where the main tourist attractions are.

There honestly isn't anything we didn't enjoy. The rooms accommodation was large, well kept, clean, and a great place to get away for a few days.
The communication was great, the staff very helpful and if we needed anything, they were quick to assist.
