It was an awesome experience. The gentleman who was dressed like seurity was so helpfun in the evening of arrival. Wish I could mention his name because he offered exceptional service, unfortunately I didnt have cash for tip, bu7t he deserved it and more. We changed room and the owner was verey helpful with that... very smooth.

A comfy eclectic hideaway near to the sea. Everything you could need was available in the home. A washing machine was very appreciated. Good line out the back The cooker was very useful in the cold spell. The lighting was bright and plentiful & used eco bulbs. Better than in most rentals!! Load shedding did not occur here which was a relief! However, that would not have been problematical as there was a gas heater with 3 levels. We were toasty & comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. The kitchen had every tool you could possibly need! Plenty of china glasses and cutlery. Good wifi.

Oleander geust House more than met our expectations. Staff very professional and friendly. Carel and others thank you so much. We slept over on a Thursday and came back on Sunday. Perfect and beautiful place. Breakfast and dinner very good. We even loved the loud parrot. We chose to take the N12 from Johannesburg to Beaufort West because of heavy traffic especially the large amount of trucks on the road. To stay over here was the best choice.

The streets are kept clean.

The streets are kept clean. It is easy to find your way around town. We ate at Bordeaux - the food was delicious, and the service was food. The people in town were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We visited the Chargo Farm Stall and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of goods on sale. Colesberg is definitely a must visit when travelling from Gauteng to the Cape

Kimberly is not a big and developed area.

Kimberly is not a big and developed area. We realized during the week that it doesn't have many entertainment places including the tourist attraction places. It could have been better if we stayed for two or three days and moved to other towns such as Kuruman.

The town is dirty ,people must be punished for throwing trash anywhere, people are smoking in public places, But overall I love Upington.I love the mall.I love to at Beantree the staff is quick,friendly and on point . It was very easy to go around ,yoh but I would like to see more marked taxi.Cause taxis charger are very very high ,some taxis charge 150 per trip from town to the mall.NO ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Richmond offers an ideal stopover for travelers journeying from Gauteng to Cape Town, conveniently located more than halfway to the Mother City. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of accommodation available. Do be aware that the town tends to shut down around 5 PM, so plan accordingly for dinner and other essentials. A definite highlight was the local butchery, Richmond Meat & Deli. It proved to be a real winner, offering excellent coffee and delicious homemade pies – perfect for a tired traveler!

The hotel is absolutely breathtaking decorated, so much detail. The receptionist was excellent, she assisted us with everything and even served our drinks as there was no barman to make cocktail’s. But unfortunately there was no electricity during the night and because of that we could not bath, use the toilet, make coffee or have breakfast before we had to travel to our next destination.

Our guys go up on a regular basis for work and are super impressed with everything. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, everything in working order. Their only complaint is that they cannot spend too much time in the garden as they are in Kuruman to work! Other than that, they really enjoy it. Perfect place for a work crew.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Augrabies area. We visited the Augbragies waterfalls, went on the game drive, visited Riemvasmaak and did river rafting on the Orange rivier. The area is a real treat, for us the distance between the places was something to get used to. Also, when travelling there, ensure that you have a jerry can that you can fill up with diesel. When we got to Augrabies and wanted to fill up, they were out of diesel and the closest petrol station is in Kakamas, 48km's further. Thankfully, we had a jerry can. Most people from the area are friendly and helpful. Other than that, pack comfortable clothes, shoes and an adventurous spirit.

We had such a lovely experience at Victoria Oaks Guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuinely friendly. Sylvester, our host, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Our room was perfectly located at the quietest end of the property – peaceful and private. The bedding was warm, the shower hot, and everything we needed was in place for a restful night. Although we only stayed one night, we would definitely choose to stay here again. A special thank you to Sylvester – we accidentally left a jacket in the cupboard, and within an hour he phoned us to let us know. He even stayed up late to ensure we could collect it safely the same night. That kind of care and attentiveness is rare and so appreciated. Thank you, Sylvester. You are a real gem!
