It is a very good value for money! The location is top, the room is indeed very clean for an Indian hotel; the staff is very helpful. If you have extra energy or in a mood, join them for the rooftop music sessions in the evening! But they also stop the music in a very decent time - so it is a good balance for all the customers The outside streets are indeed not a fancy 5th avenue, but you are in Varanasi! The stay was amazing. The stuff was very friendly, helpful! Rooms are clean. Boys, who work here, helped with all the information. Also they helped to organize boat trips to see traditional rituals and different part of the city. There is nice cafe with delicious food for any budget. I really enjoyed staying in Mona Lisa. Highly recommended for all the tourist in Varanasi.

The staff were kind helpful and attentive. Nitesh was so kind and cooked dishes on request at anytime. Breakfast was provided and my specific needs were attended to. Aklesh went out of his way to help me find a tailor, millet bajra, and other specific things. Great for me travelling alone because always someone to ask and talk with. The owner visited and has a very interesting history of playing tabla around the world including with the Beatles, great conversations. Situated just next to Ghat and Ganges and market so very convenient.
