Our stay at Amara Ayurveda Retreat in Kovalam was truly wonderful. Right from the start, the team showed incredible hospitality—when we arrived a day late, they graciously pushed our stay forward without any extra cost. That level of understanding immediately set the tone for a heartfelt experience. The Ayurvedic therapies were the highlight of our trip. My wife absolutely loved her full-body massage with Gita, who was caring and skilled. I also had a deeply relaxing session with a therapist (a tall gentleman with a mustache) who was equally excellent—both of them made us feel at ease and completely rejuvenated. The saltwater swimming pool was another gem, soothing and refreshing after the treatments. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully catered to our preferences. While the traditional South Indian dishes were absolutely authentic and flavorful, the staff happily prepared eggs and omelettes for us as well—something we really appreciated. The serene greenery, warm staff, and the attention to detail in every corner made this retreat more than just a stay—it was a healing experience. We left feeling lighter, refreshed, and deeply grateful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine Ayurveda, peace, and wellness in Kerala. 🌿✨

Very nice staff. The beach is not crowded, and there were always free sunbeds. Great selection of vegan/vegetarian ayurvedic food and drinks. Massages and treatments were careful and good quality. View from the upper rooms is superb.
