Located on the Monroe Island, right on the boating canals that lead to the Ashtamudi lake. I really enjoyed the stay, the bost ride, the friendliness of the staff and the amazing lady who prepared the most delicious Kerala cuisine. It was like staying with a family. They took the extra mile to make it a memorable stay, leaving me a bit sad on leaving. Heartily recommend!

A lovely peaceful place to stay if you are looking for complete relaxation. We had a lovely big room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Beautifully kept gardens. There were several types of rooms within the property, villas , studios and pool villas. Huge property. Beautiful lake views. Lovely pool.

It's a beautiful little place surrounded by greenery just by the river. The host and his family are amazing and will do everything to make you feel comfortable. The room is very clean and spacious. The owner also let me use his bicycle and drove me around to show places. And food is delicious!

Beautiful location directly overlooking the beach, stunning views & extremely well maintained. Lovely gardens & grounds with ample sun beds, hammocks & seating. Large well furnished room with big terrace - very clean. Attentive manager & helpful staff. Breakfast is more than adequate with a large choice of fresh fruits, juice, eggs etc - served under the palm trees with the sound of waves in the background.

The rooms are very pretty - best room and bathroom we had in India. The hosts and staff are really nice. They help you with everything you need. There is a good breakfast with fruit salad, juice, curry & omlette available. The location is also quite nice. From the homestay it just takes a two minute walk to Edava Beach (not crowded and clean). It is possible to rent Scooters if you want to go to Varkala - round about 10min ride (we rented one for the whole week and needed it everyday to go out for dinner and coffee or to go to Varkala).
