When I first saw the photos on Google, I wasn't too sure about booking a stay here. It didn't look very appealing at first glance. But since our decision to stay in Marayoor was a last-minute one, we were just looking for a place to sleep, not a fancy resort. However, it turned out to be the best stay of our entire trip. The proprietor, Mr. Gladson, and his brother graciously took up residence on the property to ensure that our every need was catered to. Mr. Gladson regaled us with the rich history of Marayoor and even facilitated a thrilling jeep safari for us the following day. I would strongly recommend engaging in a detailed conversation with Mr. Gladson to enhance the overall sojourn, as his profound knowledge of the area enables him to arrange various safari experiences tailored to your preferences. The crowning jewel of this establishment is, undoubtedly, the private waterfall it boasts. Our group, including the little ones, reveled in the sheer delight of this natural wonder. It is worth noting that the resort is still in the early stages of development, with ongoing efforts in landscaping and the expansion of additional rooms. Nevertheless, the rooms and washrooms were impeccably maintained, equipped with all necessary amenities, offering pristine bedding and linens. In summation, I unequivocally recommend that no one should forgo the opportunity to partake in this jungle resort experience.
