It had been a dream of mine to stay at Tea Trails since 2019 and I couldnt be any happier with the experience. It will always be one of the most special moments of my life as I proposed to my girlfriend here. Huge thanks to the staff for recording our moment. The hotel is flawless, service and food could not be any better. Purely by coincidence we stayed here as the Hotel was featured on BBC "Amazing Hotels, life beyond the lobby". We were lucky that on our second day we were the only guests at Dunkeld bungalow so could enjoy everything to ourselves. The view from the infinity pool is probably the best I will ever see. Sure it's an expensive hotel but if you have the opportunity to stay here you wont regret it.

The Farm Resorts is located on the shores of the Castlereigh Lake in Dickoya. The Resort has barbecue facilities and terraced garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the a la carte restaurant.

There is a gorgeous walk on the property, and the room has a breath taking view of the lake. The staff were fantastic-we had a butler who was amazing- and the property is very peaceful and quiet.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Probably one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff were so accommodating and friendly from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean, had all amenities and was beautifully designed. The front garden to which we had access from our rooms was a lovely place to relax in the evening. We had our evening meal in the hotel because we thought it would be extra special because of how luxury the place was when we arrived and we were right. The food was superb. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful as well. Due to the area having a cooler climate to other parts of the island they even provided us with a hot water bottle before bed. The room also had a superb tea selection. I will most definitely be recommending this accommodation to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.

Where do I begin? What a thoughtfully, well planned and executed beautiful villa! Wish we stayed longer. Everything was 10/10. From the exceptionally clean room and premisses we felt comfortable and well looked after. Appreciate the attention to details here making this villa a home. Not only is the villa itself a work of art, check out the interiors with the baby grand piano in the living room, everything has been merticulously thought of. At 1900ft above sea level, it’s chilly yet the bed is toasty warm with the the electric bed warmer. The owners whom manage remotely from Botswana, have certainly selected good caretakers for this property. The staff were indeed attentive to detail and nothing was too much of a bother. We were celebrating our grandson’s 6th birthday and he was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary cake and baloons! Breakfast was a choice of either Sri Lankan or Western and it did not dissapoint. The portions were huge and food delicious. Other meals can be ordered in if too tired to eat out. Overall a very warm and welcoming memorable experience! 100% a Yes!

Mona, her aunt and her boy Shaun are just adorable. The place is unique and when you arrive, you find yourself away from everything in the middle of the jungle, it’s absolutely stunning. There is wildlife, beautiful birds dancing and a natural pool that is incredible. I am a solo mum traveler with my toddler and it was beautiful to see our sons play together. She even watched my boy so I could get enjoy the natural pool. Mona is a cool and lovely woman and I loved how her and aunty are running thia place. I would love to come back! Dinner was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka! Absolutely loved this place!
