We are a South Indian family and found to the food in Philippines to be not to our taste except in J&R. Even my 3 year old kid enjoyed the food and being fed watching the waves. The food was excellent and the beach was gorgeous. Only had the opportunity to stay for 1 day, but I wish we had stayed longer. My wife had a massage and pedicure which she was very happy about.

The drive from the airport to the resort is about two hours, but believe me it's worth it and then some. The view of the resort private beach is spectacular, the staff are extremely friendly and kind, and the food is the best i had in the Philippine. The owner, fred, is a gentleman, he sat with us to tell us about the place and asked if we needed anything. Best resort experience I've ever had, it was like visiting a friend I never knew I had.

Here's what we loved about this place: the location next to the beach but away from any noise, the proximity to a small town (and amazing vibe in the town), the cute cats and dog, the good mobile internet reception, and, above all, the very very helpful staff, who got us a scooter, transport to the harbor, and more. Beach front location and super close to town. Loved the small jacuzzi pool. Kettle provided. Free billiard table provided plenty of entertainment. Excellent host treated us like family.

Everything, especially the quiet and peace of mind. The beach, the pool, the wonderful, friendly staff. The friendly locals and their kids. The geckos calling in the trees. Just perfect. Special shout out to Christopher at the bar - he knew exactly how to rotate beers between the fridge and the freezer to keep them coming on icy-cold. Also like to mention Jimboy, who was a fountain of information and friendliness. A little paradise if one needs to get away from EVERYTHING.

Amazing place, stunning views, magical reef just down the hotel, probably one of the best snorkeling spots ever seen. All the people working in the hotel are superfriendly. We took diving lessons and this just made our whole holiday. Jason, the diving instructor is very professional and the whole diving crew is fantastic. We were also lucky because we had the perfect weather. If you are thinking about learning how to dive, don't hesitate, this paradise is where you should do it!
