The property has new owners and you can already see how invested they are in building the business and cultivating repeat customers. We were given a freshly furnished room close to the spotless pool. The grounds were tidy despite the palms with ample parking. The location has great access to Litchfield and is far enough out of Bachelor while still convenient for supplies. Jock is developing the menu and the bar licence is being made more flexible to suit the pool area and byo. Janet is more than welcoming with great banter and you won't be alone if Holly the dog likes you. We looked forward to getting back in the evening.

Nestled on the water's edge, Crab Claw Island is located on the south-western side of Bynoe Harbour. Guests can enjoy a swim in the indoor pool. The place was lovely, the view exceptional and the staff polite and friendly. I will make it an annual visit for sure.

The rooms are very clean (we had the Deluxe rooms) and the stuff very friendly and helpful! Everything is very good if you imagine you are in the middle of the Outback from Australia! Very recommended is the helicopter flight over kings Canyon! There is also a small Grocery where you get the important things for long car drives!
