Isolated but not too remote, with a perfect beach, surrounded by superb jungle (and its sounds) -infrastructure is in line with what can be expected for the price (reasonable). No airco and limited power, mosquito nets, fans, adequately ventilated rooms.... with superb views!!!!! (On mount K). In fact, infrastructure is adapted to the environment and that creates also the experience - food is great (and included) - staff is very nice , without exception. Love & kindness - diving is great, and other activities are possible I liked it so much that I d come to Sabah only for that place..... Congratulations to the owners for creating this environment and the experience it offers, with their team, and being able to maintain this over time.... 🙌

The resort boasts a large fitness centre, pool and a sauna. It is 20 minutes from the Mulu Airport by car. Beautiful hotel and its surroundings . Spacious room and comfortable bed. Free shuttle to airport and National Park. I had a nice surprise on return from our morning excursion , they decorated my room with Birthday cards and balloons and a towel birthday cake on the bed as well as a chocolate birthday cake too !! All the excursions booked through the hotel start from within the hotel and with lunch and snack and a smaller group. The price is more expensive than the excursions from the National Park but it is definitely worth it.

The rooms are very spacious, cleaned twice and the mini-fridge beverages are free and includes biscuits.

Sea Star Resort Semporna is situated in Semporna. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also welcomes guests with a family-friendly restaurant and a sun terrace. The rooms have a balcony with views of the sea. the service was outstanding. in particular Daniel and Sebastian. Daniel went out of his way to make us comfortable, even took us to restaurants on the main land to show us around. wow. amazing guy. always smiling

A fully equipped resort with lots of activities for both adults and kids. many restaurants on site with various food choices, even for vegetarians. The resort has a beautiful private beach and pools. The staff were very friendly and helpful

The Magellan Sutera Resort is large property popular with families, groups, and couples. Staff were professional and very helpful. The rooms (ours was sea view, king) are spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and very popular with children, and there is a small beach to access the sea. There are several restaurants to choose from with very good food options. The breakfast buffet (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. The view from the open-air breakfast area was truly tropical.

Comfortable and spacious. Great location near seafront restaurants.

There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. This place is an oasis right out of the caos of the city of Semporna. The hotel is surrounded by nature and very calm, the hospitality and dedication of the staff is unmatched. They drove us wherever we needed to go, booked an island hopping tour for us, made recommendations, cooked home-made breakfast, etc, and in general, kept an eye on us at all times. would 100% recommend.
