Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Grande Bay Resort and Spa Mamallapuram is located in Mahabalipuram. It is a 5-minute walk from Mahabalipuram Beach. Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed with complimentary nannari root drinks (a thoughtful touch I'll never forget), we knew this would be special. The service truly set this place apart. The staff constantly ensured we felt comfortable and at ease throughout our stay. The room was spacious with an excellent air conditioning system that provided perfect relief from the heat. The resort itself is beautiful. The pool was immaculately maintained and absolutely gorgeous, a wonderful spot to unwind. After long days exploring Mahabalipuram's incredible temples and beaches, returning here felt like coming to a sanctuary. The food was outstanding, and they even had a late afternoon tea service with complimentary snacks which was a delightful daily ritual we looked forward to. These small but meaningful touches really elevated the entire experience. The location is ideal, very close to the beach, making it convenient for both sightseeing and relaxation. Each day only enhanced our appreciation for this place. It's rare to find a property where every detail is so thoughtfully considered. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mahabalipuram.

Chidambaram Villas - A Luxury Heritage Resort is located in Chettinad, within 5 km from Thirumayam Fort and Thirumayam Railway Station. Traditional rooms and the hotel itself was very beautiful! Deliciously authentic food. Arranged small tours around the area and was perfect!

This eco-friendly hotel enjoys a scenic location between the Veera Chozha and Cauverey Rivers in Southern India's Tanjore District. Mantra Koodam is a lovely place. We loved the staff, the facilities and the surroundings. We went on nature walks with Karthick in the morning and in the evening and we saw all sorts of beautiful birds and daily life in the small village next to the hotel. Karthick was a special guide and he shared with us not only his expertise with birds and natural resources, but also his insights about Indian culture. The reception people are super friendly as are as the waiters and waitresses. There is a beautiful pond and you can feed the fish, which was a really nice experience. You can also light the wish candles in the evening, which was a special and meaningful ritual for us…we did it each night we stayed.
