We had an absolutely amazing stay at Whisky Point Resort, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!! A special shoutout to Mufaris and Murthala for their outstanding and precise service—they went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The highlight of our stay was the incredible food and drinks. The iced tea was the best we’ve ever tasted, and the pizza was absolutely divine! Every bite and sip transported us to a place of pure bliss. Whisky Point Resort truly feels like a little paradise nestled within an already paradise-like island. The serene ambiance, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the staff, makes this a must-visit destination. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience. We’ll be back for sure!

The Swiss Bay Hotel is set in a truly beautiful and naturally serene environment. Staying here brought us great joy. The staff were incredibly kind and took excellent care of us throughout our stay. We definitely wish to return to Swiss Bay Hotel again in the future.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful and easy to contact. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in Arugam Bay. The food was excellent too.

Wild Waves Kumana Safari & Surf Resort Hotel - Panama Near Arugam Bay ligger i Panama, 10 km fra Elephant Rock, og har en have, en restaurant og gratis privat parkering. Wild Waves Hotel is the place to stay if you are interested in Safari within Kumana National Park. We had an exceptional driver as good an animal spotter as our guide!. We were lucky enough to have him as our guide. He knew so much about the animals and their behaviors. It gave us the best chance of having so many great leopard/animal encounters. The food and hotel staff was also fantastic. If I come back to Sri Lanka I would skip Yala National Park and come here for a few nights more. There is no mobile signal in Kumana to alert other drivers to where wildlife is so usually the leopard encounters are just yourself and no-one else. Just note - the national park is still about 30 minutes drive away from the hotel (but this is the nearest hotel to Kumana entrance) and Panama is a quiet place (more peaceful than Arugum Bay). Its def not a party place like Arugum bay. Safaris are from 5am until about 6.30pm. Hotel charges only for the private safari cab. No any hidden charges. We can pay directly to the tickets at the entrance gate. I would also recommend maybe bringing a neck buff and protection for expensive camera equipment (towel to cover). There is a lot of dust that kicks up off the road. This Hotel arranges food with parcels if you select full day safari. Wild Waves Kumana Hotel was my best selection.
