We have 2 young kids (2 and 5 years old), and they loved playing with the dogs, and running around in the large yard area. My son spent all his time catching frogs and lizards while my daughter chased him around. It was safe and fun for them to explore. We saw monkeys in the trees, and peacocks roaming around the property. The food was really delicious. Home cooked, healthy, and tasty. The owner was there during our stay and we enjoyed getting to know him. He has so much experience and knowledge about the area, and was very accommodating to us. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The staff were welcoming and attentive - nothing was too much trouble for the butler, Mogu. The accommodation is outstanding - private, comfortable, impecable. We went on four half-day safaris, including one to block 1 and one to Bundalla, and had an incredible time. It was the highlight of our two week Sri Lankan holiday. Our guide, Kithmee, was a pleasure to spend time with. She was knowledgable, passionate and personable. She took time to get to know us, our interests and priorities, and our other experiences in Sri Lanka. Then she worked hard to optimise and customise our experience. She was so genuinely excited for us when we got to see the animals on our bucket list - and we got to see them all.

Bhatiya and his family are excellent, such good hosts and serve amazing food. We stayed with them for one night on their 20 acre fruit farm and had such a good time. Bhati offered to pick us up from Buttala, then we got to their place around midday. This gave us time for a delicious lunch, followed by a walking tour of the farm to see the crops and all the surrounding nature, and a sunset drive to some local lakes to see some excellent bird life. You get to sleep in an open sided building on the first floor, and feel really in touch with nature listening to the sounds of the night. Next day, Bhati took us on a safari in his own safari jeep to Yala (Galge entrance) for a fair price. He was such a knowledgeable guide, we saw loads of animals and had a great time (including amazing food again for breakfast and lunch). While we weren't lucky enough to see a leopard on this occasion, we were on the trail of the alarm calls for one but it went deeper into the bush. We really appreciated going to the part of Yala that we did - while it's harder to spot leopards using the Galge entrance than the more popular entrances further south, we valued being one of 10-15 vehicles we saw that day, instead of one of 100-200 that often enter the more popular blocks. All in all, an amazing experience, and a definite highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka.

Spacious clean AC rooms very close to Yala’s Katagamuwa entrance. We had our own front porch in a very peaceful private garden setting. The owner and host, Kapila, took care of all our needs, and arranged our full day safari for the next morning. He is a retired environmental journalist who knows plenty about all the SL national parks,especially Yala and the animals. We had an excellent safari driver and jeep. Kapila accompanied us on the safari which was a treat because he shared all his knowledge of the past, present and future of Yala, as well as all the details of every bird, mammal, reptile, insect we saw. The host family cooked us a most delicious homemade meal of rice and curry/fruits and cold beers. Just make sure you let Kapila know that you will want dinner beforehand, and anything else you want. I highly recommend boundary yala for your yala safari and stay. We enjoyed our time there and saw everything and learned a lot about the animals.

Drawing inspiration from traditional village, Jetwing Kaduruketha - Level 1 Certified is a luxurious eco agro-resort. This place is absolute heaven! The views were breathtaking. The food was delicious and the staff were so accommodating, welcoming, and friendly. The location was perfect.

The best part of this place is undoubtedly the staff, especially the Property Manager, who was truly amazing. Everyone was extremely humble, kind, and genuinely caring. They put in a lot of effort to make our stay special — from beautifully prepared BBQ dinners and cozy campfires to thoughtful special setups. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a long day. You can really feel the personal touch and warmth in everything they do. Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable stay near Yala.
