The beaches are gorgeous, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, and the food very good. I would not hesitate to visit again. It is like being in paradise. Beginning from the friendly welcome at the sea-plane dock, the delicious welcome drink, being shown to our cabin and the facilities, the friendly and helpful host at the restaurants and finally accommodating our request for the departure exceeded what one expects at the most exclusive and elite resorts.

Set in Rasdu, Veligandu Maldives Resort Island features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Veligandu is an extraordinary resort for people looking for a totally peaceful holiday without people shouting, kids screaming around and loud music. It’s truly heaven if you’re looking for silence and complete relaxation. However if you’re someone looking for some partying and/or want to take small kids with you, this is not the most appropriate resort (fortunately). The best thing about Veligandu is the food. Every single meal is a 10/10, high quality ingredients and carefully prepared meals. It makes Veligandu on par with many fine dining and even Michelin guide restaurants across the world, even beating some of them. After renovations, the facilities and infrastructure turned out incredible, our ocean villa was out of this world, we couldn’t believe it when we walked in. Truly spectacular. The staff is super nice, and a special thanks to Nawal which was in charge of our villa and cleaning services. He did a superb job.

Nestled on the pristine island of Thelu Veliga, located in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 90 km southwest of the capital, Malé, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat boasts of its own magnificent house reef.... Best Vacation of my life. Normal life seems so sad, that's how much I felt taken care of here. Everyone from the front staff, restaurant, bar, dive centre, everyone made our stay special. My wife and I will be back.

Diamonds Athuruga Maldives Resort & SPA tilbyder en luksuriøs paradioplevelse og rummelige villaer, spa med ayurvediske behandlinger og dykkercenter. Athuruga was everything we had hoped for an more from start to finish. We stayed in the Junior Suite on the island, as well as the water bungalows over the duration of our stay and both were great accommodations with their own perks. The house reef is very large, with a diversity of wildlife and the marine lab on the island has done a great job at preserving the beautiful coral gardens. We saw lots of fish, nurse, white and black tip reef sharks, rays, turtles, you name it! We went diving a few times and the dove spots the school offer were all amazing, including Shark Thila and Maadu Faru corner, which were something very special. If you like diving, the night dive on the house reef is also not to be missed, the nurse sharks are very friendly! What gives this island it’s ‘extra’ factor is the people. The team are all really wonderful: kind, friendly, helpful, open and authentic. A special thanks to Abdullah and Mohammed from the restaurant for making every meal an occasion for laughter, Marco and Adam from the dive school for such an all around awesome time, all of the reception team for their help and Nivo from the spa for an amaazing massage.
